Today is release day and your response so far has been very FLATTERING! Kicking off Bug Hunter szn with the first of several projects, Repercussion Roulette is a collection of songs that fulfills the promise of the opening track. Writing helps me process things, and this album is all about addressing the things I need to work on. Finding a balance between following my dreams and staying connected with my friends and family. Remembering to think before opening my big mouth. Learning patience when friends are having a good time but oh my god it’s your turn and you’re not even looking at your cards, please just play 😭

An immense amount of work from @jessethemusician on this record. He’s deserving every bit of praise he’s getting for the production here. I’m so lucky to have him in my corner. Please blow this album up so he’ll keep working with me!!

@touring_with_kyle hit the drums again and even got a line delivery! @musicmorgs with the impeccable mastering job as always!

Thank you @jebartthings with the album art! It’s stunning, cannot wait to get the physical CDs and Vinyls soon!

Also thank you to @taryn.hadfield for contributing vocals on track 7, they sound so great!

And as always, thank you @papabughunter and @thenarcissistcookbookofficial for all your help getting us here.

There’s a ton of @jammechanics on this album so if you want to hear the early demos of a lot of these songs, today’s a good day to check that out too!

Today’s my 35th birthday! Big accomplishments this year:

-Released season 4 of @jammechanics with my bud @thenarcissistcookbookofficial. Best season ever, hands down. It also spawned Bottle Rocket Astronaut, the biggest song I’ve ever written with a life-changing animation from @deepblueinksta
- ran a Kickstarter for my next album and a half, both of which will be out in the next 2 months. I had so much fun working with @jessethemusician and @touring_with_kyle on Repercussion Roulette this year, and we’ve never had so much support from friends and fans.
- had our biggest tour EVER across the U.S. with my best buds, including our beloved @papabughunter. We are so lucky to do what we do
- got asked to open for @ludoband on October 23 in St Louis. I DREAMED of going to halludoween someday, and now I get to open for it???

34 was a big work year. 35 is going to be huge for showing off that work. 1 album this month, an EP next month, and hopefully another album in the first half of 2027. Thanks to everyone who hopped on the train this year from Burt and to everyone who has been here for years. Thank you for this life! I’m so very lucky

My Birthday feels like a good day to announce a new album! The first of a set of projects I’m releasing over the next year is called Repercussion Roulette! I’ve been describing this album as a bit of a post-Happiness return to my Torn Between a Couple era. A loose theme connecting a few of my favorite songs I’ve written in the past 3 years. This will be out September 25. Produced by @jessethemusician with @touring_with_kyle as always. This one will be huge for the @jammechanics fans out there!
