When the saxophone keeps getting louder... and better!🎷

@chris.dadge and @brawnyjonny share the stage with @bindigoddess and MODAL for an unforgettable collaboration of noise and glitched visuals.

Meet Chris Dadge🥁, the curator of Bug Incision @ EMMEDIA
You've seen him playing drums and running behind the scenes of many concerts. He is a true jack of all trades, working as a producer/engineer, percussionist, composer, multi-instrumentalist, record label operator, and concert organizer.

@bugincision is a central and cherished part of Calgary's experimental music community. What began as a way for Chris, Scott Munro and David Laing to release their own music has grown into a 20-year old concert series!

Chris has selected each musician you'll listen NEXT SUNDAY, with a lineup that reflects the spirit of improvisation that Bug Incision is known for.

📅 Sunday, July 19
🕒 Doors open at 6PM, Event starts at 7PM
📍 EMMEDIA
Tickets on link in bio! Affordable and free options available.

When you come to a @bugincision show, expect the unexpected. Improvisation meets electronics. Guitars, flutes, saxophones and experimental soundscapes collide to create a surreal multimedia experience.

Next week, Bug Incision and EMMEDIA join the best of both worlds! Each musician will perform a 30-minute improvised set, accompanied by live visuals created by EMMEDIA members.

🎶 What to expect:
• A massive LED wall with live visuals
• A lineup of musicians performing one after another
• Chairs for focused listening
• A cozy carpet area where you can lie down, get comfortable, and fully immerse yourself in the performance

Tickets on our link in bio! Pay-what-you- can and free options available!

EMMEDIA and Bug Incision join forces for a ONE-NIGHT only performance (after more than a decade)!

For the first time, we're pairing local noise musicians with media artists to improvise LIVE and collide sound and visuals. Curated by @chris.dadge, the evening brings together four musicians and two EMMEDIA artists to create an experience that will never happen the same way twice.

Tonight! We have four bands playing this evening, so we are going to start RIGHT AT 7PM SHARP. Don't be late! Order is Nate Waters Trio, i.o/Pet Retina, Olive/Dadge, and Last Ark Out closing out the night. And because 3 of these fine acts are from out of town, our cover charge is higher than normal, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds - just DM us here if that is an issue for you. See you soon! by @bugincision
