👁🐸 frogspawn eye sweater 🐸👁

a little over a year ago, @pix.zel chose me to test their updated eye sweater pattern. when i was a beginner crocheter, this was THE most iconic pattern in my mind. i was so awestuck and in disbelief that i had become a part of its history, that i didn't post about it or tell anyone... until today. 💓

thank u infinitely @pix.zel

p.s. should i make another ? ;) by @bugpea

i've been thinking about death a lot recently. this year we lost both our guinea pigs, with floret leaving us just last week. they were 3.5 & 4 years old and as biological brothers, both had degenerative heart disease. it was exhausting fighting not one but two losing battles, yet it was the privilege of my life. i am so grateful for everything, how deep my love for them runs, how i raised them from birth. :) i hope in death they are only swaddled in peace and comfort. may next year be free from illness & may fig and bug grow happily despite losing their elder boar. rest in peace floret & floran. ❤️ taken in Nørrebro, København by @bugpea
