Just taking it one day at a time.
Firearms. Hunting. Fishing. And motorcycles.
What else could you possible need?

18lbs of hearing safe 300 winmag is quite the rig. There needs to be more public ranges with 1000yd+ distances because the @tikkafirearms Super Varmint is wasted inside 200 😂
One of these days I'll cut the barrel down to 20 inches and drop it in an Iota Carbon stock to shave a ton of weight for actual hunting purposes. And a Leupold mk4. But until then, zero recoil is way too much fun. And the @diligentdefenseco Enticer L is still one of the quietest suppressors I've ever shot.

Whisper Wednesdays are better when the MK12 actually makes an appearance. Too bad im at work. Need to take this rig out and stretch the range out for one. Its been too long.
Something to be said about a hearing safe 5.56 with the @ottercreeklabs OCM5 and a silent capture buffer combo. Almost no gas! And even less recoil 🔥

The Gen 2 @rugersofficial Patrol in 6 ARC is becoming a favorite plinker and varmint terminator. Cheap off the shelf @hornadymfg 80gr ELDVTs shooting under an inch with no effort, the @vortexoptics Strike Eagle 3-18 with some great glass, and my @rexsilentium MG7K taking this thing down to hearing safe levels is just an insane feat.
Looking forward to the prime hunting season to put it to the test. Its too stinking hot out these days.

Happy Father's Day to the hardest working guy I know! Now he doesn't have to work hard. He gets to enjoy the rest and relaxation he earned with 47 years flying. Nothing made me happier than coming home to visit and give you a gift we all put together just for you. I know nothing could equal all the gifts he's given me since I was born, the time, the advice, the support, love, and life I've built. Love you dad! by @buhhlakeh

So, this was a surprise over a year in the making for my dad. He just retired, and I had a goal to get him a really special gift for all the hard work he's put in over the years.
My mother, sister, and I picked up a Dan Wesson Razorback in 10mm from my work, and with the help of my good friends Austin and Allen, we made a custom display box for it. Allen was the magician with the walnut, and watching him cut, form, and sand the box was incredible. Austin and I made the foam insert and laid the felt lining. I attempted to cut a glass lid...and immediately broke it 😅 a 2nd attempt cut some Plexiglass instead gave us a solid and safe cover.
The fit and finish was more than I had imagined from the beginning, and I really appreciate the help from my friends and family for helping me get this together.

A group project that had love and care from everyone, my dad absolutely loved it! I'll post the reaction and the first range session later. Proud of you, Dad! by @buhhlakeh

The last 8 months have been a big change in life. I started back to school, spent hundreds of hours studying, close to 200 hours studying in just the spring semester alone, and killed it in 2 of the hardest classes ive ever taken in Anatomy & Physiology.
Yesterday I had an interview, and today I got the news I was accepted into the Blinn Radiologic Technology program. Ive been wanting to do this for about 6 years now, and I finally got the opportunity to pursue this new dream of mine to work in Radiology and MRI as a technologist. Im not sure whats next, but I'm really excited to start soon! by @buhhlakeh

No kidding, I haven't ridden this bike in any meaningful capacity since I lost posted a picture in July of 2025.
She's needed some things. Bit by bit, its coming back together. Tires and seat done this week, brakes need bled, again, and some new grips are needed. The sun and heat out here has just brutalized any and all rubber and plastic, under a cover or not. I need this bike back on the road ASAP.

Practicing some reps for my first USPSA pistol match this weekend. Im definitely more of a rifle guy, handguns have never been my strong suit, so this year is me trying to be more proficient.
Im a little mad my run was flawless until I hit a no shoot on the very last round and needed a 2nd reload 😂
Only going to get better by doing so we'll see how slow i am come results time 😂

Life update: everything is broken. My bikes. My truck. My sanity. And my sleep schedule.
But thats ok. Blown shocks all the way around and some extremely sketchy (baaaaaaald) tires were promptly ditched for a Bilstein and Old Man Emu lift kit. New Fuel wheels and Cooper tires for the Taco.
Thanks to my friends Austin @millennial_marksman and Barney who lent me their hands, tools, and know how to tackle this project of 160k miles corroded bolts and ball joints under this thing to get it back on the road.
I dont have much free time these days, so that endeavor was an important one and I wouldnt have been able to tackle it on my own. Thank you friends.
Side note: installs are never as fast as the youtube videos try to claim. And theyre always doing it on n shiny new cars. Take that into consideration for car projects 😂
