𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀!: Yesterday, I had the pleasure of going to @llccedu Lincoln Land Community College in Taylorville and talking to the Taylorville Junior High School 8th graders about opportunities in the trades.

Of course we had to have some fun with some screwgun races, which the students always appreciate 😁👍

Wow.

Humbled. Proud. Exhausted. Excited. Motivated.

To @benbogie, Dan Singer, @build_learn_teach and Kenzie Krueger (Yes, that last name should be familiar to most of you).... for the early mornings, late nights, and all the fun in between to help pull this off. THANK YOU.

To our sponsors who leaned in without proof of concept... both financially and generously with your time. THANK YOU.

To the teachers who came... part as participants, part as co builders of what this program will become. THANK YOU.

To @communitycollegeofaurora and @buildstrongacademyco for letting us crash your beautiful new space. THANK YOU.

To @elischulz3 for being the poster child of 'you don't get what you don't ask for'. KEEP ASKING.

To all other IMW Clients whom we dreadfully underserved these last few weeks as we focused on this. THANK YOU, and promise to play catch up.

To my own family, who tolerated late nights, packed goody bags and coolers full of snacks... and planned a congratulatory dinner for me when it wrapped. NO WORDS.

Stay tuned. This is truly only the beginning of something epic that's been dreamed up for years and is finally starting to happen.

And no. I did not use AI to write this. Turns out, I use emphatic, short sentences when I'm excited about things. Em dash. Em dash. Em dash. ;)

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: Day 2 at @hftforschools #LetsBuildIt We kicked off our morning with our "Walk and Talk." My group and I took our walk out to the beautiful Pacific Ocean, where we shared ideas, talked about pain points and ways to improve our programs.

Then it was time for 'Shop Talk Express" with 30 teachers giving there best classroom hacks in speed dating style event. We also traded our very own HFTFS trading cards 😁👍

Then we closed it out at Petco Park watching the Padres.

It was a good day! taken in San Diego, California by @build_learn_teach

Been dreaming this up for nearly two years and now it's only two days away!

Thank you @benbogie for all the prep work you're putting in.

Thank you @huberwood for being our underwriting sponsor.

And thank you to the sponsors who picked up lunches, dinners, prizes, and all the other fun in between.
