Lot 119 colour selections are locked in 🤍

Think: warm oak, textured stone, crisp whites + stone greys for contrast 😌

We wanted a first home build that feels timeless, light and bright, modern coastal style - neutral house colours that won’t date. Perfect for a new build in sunny North Queensland! 🏝️

Steal our floor plan layout 👇

We spent countless hours tweaking this custom home floor plan for our first home build and this is the final house layout. With a few of our favourite features:

- Walk in pantry
- Media room
- Extended doorway to the alfresco

Another milestone!

We’ve now seen the windows, electrical and plumbing rough ins installed. Oh… and the boards on the front facade 😍

Sheeting and plastering for the walls and ceiling are up next on the agenda. Fingers crossed we get to see a snippet when we have our walkthrough on Tuesday 🤩

Come walk through our frame with us 🎥🏠
No plaster, no paint - just raw internal framing and finally seeing our first home take shape at Lot 119.

Walking you through:
→ The hallways that felt SO small on plans but actually works ✅
→ The Mountain View from our window ⛰️
→ Laundry 🧺
→ Media room 🎞️
→ Open plan kitchen / living / dining 🍽️

It’s wild how much bigger it feels in person vs on paper.
What room should we show properly next? 👇

We have internal framing 🤯

It’s not pretty yet. It’s better.

💛 That bright yellow showing off our treated internal frames — ready for NQ climate
🏠 Every doorway, every hallway, every room you second-guessed on the plan — you can walk it now

Lot 119 finally makes sense. The bedrooms have actual walls. The living area feels HUGE.

If you’re in frame stage right now, you get it. If you’re about to build — this is a stagr you should be excited for!

What part do you think is next? Stay tuned to find out later this week 🪟

Roof ON ✅

Big milestone at Lot 119 - we have our roof and are officially starting to look like a home 🏡

From a slab to this in just a few months. That double garage is going to be a game changer and we can already picture the front entry coming together 😍

Next up: internal framing! It’s getting real now!

Week 6: Not a lot of movement this week 🥲

We’re still in the frame stage of our first home build!

Currently experiencing some delays with roof sheeting up to Townsville, fingers crossed we have more of an update in the coming weeks!

In the meantime, enjoy some photos our builder was nice enough to send through of our build in the frame stage earlier this week. Check the view from inside!

Does anyone have any tips with staying positive while everything is stagnate? 😅
