🌱🌿ONE Mind Body Space Global Symposium - Barcelona 2025 (Part 1):

Never in a million years did I ever think I'd be so lucky to say that I get to work with my best friends to create a week long event of pure joy 💚- hearing amazing professionals and human beings discuss their projects and research in the growing space of environmental psychology, neuroscience, architecture, and spatial design. 🌇

We held these conversations in the most beautiful space of @santpaubcn, overlooking the incredible Sagrada Familia, which set the tone not only for reflection over the importance of our collective work, but also allowed constant rejuvenation and excitement of what was happening and what is still to come!

Any city I'm in, I genuinely love to admire the graffiti and street art of their artists. And the physical forms they introduce into their playgrounds of colour. Christiania was no exception to the magic of creativity and fun in making collective wall tapestries.

I loved Fredericksborg Slot og Have (Palace and gardens) for many reasons. It felt like a natural oasis in the middle of an already green urban city. Filled with people enjoying socialising together for parties, talking with their parents, running whilst listening to music. People were enjoying so many activities that keep their mental and physical health prospering.

But the key thing I loved so much was watching the animals having a safe space to also enjoy their lives.
The first picture was a snap taken of 2 parent geese cosily protecting their baby while walking about the grounds, or the third picture showing them in front of the Chinese pavilion and river on a hot afternoon.

The final picture is of two herons collecting branches for their nests and one really kind Danish lady told me that there used to be an old man who visited the park everyday for 30+ years to feed the small group of herons that would come. By the time he passed away, a large group of herons had made the park their home because of him, and now she says they are lonely without him. The legacy that one person can live behind for humans and animals alike. 🩷

The fourth picture shows a tree that the Danish woman also explained to me is a tradition whereby all the danish babies and children giving up their soother or pacifier leave it to hang on the tree with a handwritten goodbye note. 🥹🥹💕

The most beautiful surprise in Christiania ❤️
The very first book that caught my eye "The Freelands" and I opened it to see it's addressed to Rachel.
Also, it turns out that the books are brought from others, so the way you pay for your book is by smiling! 🥰
I thoroughly enjoyed my time in this beautiful place

Bjarke Cirkelsten ☘️🌳
Cycled 30km across København through Valby, down along the windy but very beautiful southern coastline of the island, through the Kalvebod Fælled nature reserve forest - to find this wooden masterpiece by Thomas Dambo.
It was such a child-like, exhilarating adventure. I had so much fun in the sun this day, biking through unknown forest wilderness outside of the city and finding a new giant friend to eat your Hart pastries with.

10/10 this journey, there are 16 wooden trolls in total in Copenhagen. So get exploring 😉

Second shots of the exterior of Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Copenhagen 🇩🇰
I couldn't get over one of the external exhibits where you could explore the lake at the back, where they had created outdoor canopy space and a firepit surrounded by stones to sit on. It felt like what would be heaven on earth for a cute picnic session with friends or even for a solo adventurer.
Also, fun fact, Louisiana has a beach at the back, where if you exit, you can go walk along the shoreline.

I'll do this again someday, to see more exhibits of the phenomenal Robert Longo and others ❤️🇩🇰

Some of my personal favourites from Louisiana - from colourful, explosions of flowers spilling onto the artist's canvas, the beautiful elegance of the naked female body, grounding earthiness of heavy sculpture pieces, contorted wooden wall art that feels like the trees roots pushing through brickwork, lovers erotically embracing and lighting the world with colour, 2 German men as part of the 100 Germans from 0-100 years, and a book that I need to buy "Form Follows Love"

The beautiful exterior of Louisiana Museum for Modern Art 🇩🇰❤️
The first picture shows the window for parents to sit at in the children's play room.
🌳
In the fourth picture, we see the absolutely magnificent roots of a tree, that beat any manmade sculpture because it's the art that Mother Earth herself has devised. I fell in love with how the landscape architects purposely demonstrated to the public by making us walk up this path, that art is to be enjoyed through observing nature around us 💚

More artwork in København 🇩🇰❤️
I enjoy when art pieces have a solidity in their weight, in their presence, and in their message. I see this sculpture as an artistic metaphor for our universe, at each scale of measurement. Sub-atomic, atomic, individual, social, cultural, global, universal, planetary to the very outer and most final layers of our cosmos. Ringed, yet connected. Balanced in both emptiness of vast space, but yet filled with endless points for interaction and masses to collide. Engaging with an environment outside of our realm, in a constant, tension of non disturbance, potential for peace but also for destruction.

Beautiful art sculpture of mirrored staircase - Louisiana Museum of Modern Art København.
A fascination of mine had always been on mirrors, their symbolic and literal function in the universe and how energy interacts with itself and space around it. Playing with light, particles, colour, sound, air.
To wrap this powerful object into the form of a staircase tower, in the middle of a natural forest, I was truly mesmorised.
One of my favourite pieces of artwork.
