4 years ago I was too embarrassed to tell anyone how bad things had gotten.

Sold everything. Took out loans.
Struggled in silence.

Build a community who rallies behind you.

Now I get to take my family to Hawaii and
work on things that actually matter.

The comeback is always quieter than the setback.

Someone asked us how rich we actually want to be and I couldn't answer it. Still chewing on that one two weeks later.

We walked away from something we probably could've had. Some days I'm certain that was right. Other days less so.

But what I know... it's onwards and upwards from here. by @buildwith.wil

Gary Vee said the next shift is the individual empire, and you can already see it.

Alex Hormozi built his audience on gym owners. Gym launch, gym ads, how to fill a gym. Then it was offers, then acquisitions, then a portfolio- and the gym owners came with him. Nobody unfollowed because he stopped talking about gyms.

Steven Bartlett built a following as the young founder with a social media agency. Then a podcast, then investing, then a book. His audience never wanted the agency guy. They wanted him.

I've built six businesses across completely different industries- a carnival, an ice cream chain, YouTube, an IP deal, enterprise work, and now this. The only thing that carried across all of them was the same people paying attention.

The niche isn't the asset. The trust is. Build it around something you're actually interested in, and take it with you when things change by @buildwith.wil

Got the no. Then Cass and I just walked for like three hours, going over everything trying to find the thing we got wrong.

Couldn't find it. Which I thought would feel worse than it did.

Honestly still processing what it means. But we're going home with more fight than we came with, so.

when you have to live it all :)

running a startup, while making lemonade with your kiddos,
to travelling across the country to host BD events,
to fishing with the fam, to attending major conferences
to festivals with friends, to running half marathons
to operating my carnival, to getting back into my fav sport soccer
to bday dinner with my friends and family..

this last month has been a blur, in the past way possible.
lets continue to make it happen, show up and live life to the max! by @buildwith.wil

Pitching in a few hours. Didn't sleep much. Wrote these down at 6am mostly to stop thinking about the pitch.

Weird thing is I'm not nervous about the outcome, I'm nervous about walking in and not being the version of myself I've been for the last four weeks.

i create a lot of content for founders and entrepreneurs... and honestly most of them is just things I wish someone had told me when I was first starting.

I can't tell you how many mistakes I had to make to get to the top. To have successful exits. To have operated 8 businesses, several of which are still going strong today.
