A conversation with my brother recently reminded me of something I think I had forgotten:

Writing is my first love❤️

Somewhere between work, building things, figuring life out and trying to keep up with everything, I stopped writing as much as I used to.

And honestly? I miss it.

So, I’m going back🥹❤️❤️

I’m officially back on Medium and Substack, and I plan to write every single day.

Not because I have everything figured out, but because I genuinely love putting my thoughts into words, sharing what I’m learning and hopefully making someone feel a little less alone along the way❤️❤️❤️

I truly believe writing is one of the things I was brought to this earth to do.

So this is me choosing it again. And this time, I’m not stopping🥹❤️

Also, this piece is one that means a lot to me and I’m sure that you will be able to relate and learn from it❤️❤️

Sometimes, we find ourselves caught in the cycle of overplanning, believing that meticulous preparation is the key to success.

While it’s important to have a vision and a strategy, we must remember that true transformation happens when we take action❤️

Sometimes, overplanning can create a false sense of security, leading us to think we’re making progress when, in reality, we’re just stuck in the same position.

So this is just a reminder to let go of the need for perfection and start executing.

Your future self will thank you for it!

My brother and I had a very deep conversation about habits and it made me think about this post

For some of us, your future self is watching your daily habits right now. And they’re concerned.

Think about that for a second.

The version of you that wakes up with purpose, moves with intention, speaks with confidence, and lives without the weight of “I should have started sooner”

That person exists.

Somewhere ahead of you on the timeline.

But every time you decide not to follow through to make this a reality, you postpone that future or you reduce the likelihood of that being your reality.

Here’s what I’ve come to understand:

Becoming isn’t a one day thing. There’s no single moment where you wake up transformed.

Becoming is in the little things.

The gap between who you are and who you’re trying to become isn’t talent. It isn’t time. It isn’t an opportunity.

It’s your habits and systems.

And your future self is just asking you to choose them today, in the small things, before anyone starts watching.

Start there.

Choosing to be visible can feel scary and I get it😂 but it opens doors to countless opportunities that invisibility simply can’t offer.

When we allow ourselves to be seen and heard, we not only showcase our unique talents and perspectives, but we also inspire others to do the same.
