Meet Jake. He started @predtaskforce . They catch predators and hand them off to local law-enforcement. They’ve been in Nashville for five days and in those five days they’ve caught five predators, and AS OF TONIGHT! All 5 of them have been detained.

It’s not hard to brag on these pants. They really are a lifesaver. And when I am working outdoors, they are the best pants in the business for the following reasons:

1. Stretch. With more durable material in high wear areas.
2. Ventilation zippers on the thighs and calves ! To let heat out on those hot hot days. (Lifesaver)
3. Engineered cuffs to fit snuggly around your boot, with hooks that can tie into your laces and keep your pants in place.
4. Space for you to insert a knee pad. (that they make specifically for these pants that you can purchase separately.)
5. I didn’t talk about this in the video but one of the best things about them is that they repel dirt. It’s really easy for you to brush dirt off of the fabric and walk into a meeting with the festival director and feel somewhat put together.
6. Pockets are great for what you need. I regularly use my IPad mini on site, and it easily fits in the pockets!
7. Sweat doesn’t show up on these pants. Even the light colored ones! I think this is called moisture wicking?
8. I FEEL GOOD in these pants. They hug the right areas, are slimming, and make my ass look great.
9. The MEN’S version is built just as expertly and carefully as the WOMEN’S version.
10. You can buy a wax apply it to make them semi waterproof for when you are hunting or hiking. For me, I need mine to be as breathable as possible for the work I do, So I don’t wax mine. But the reviews say the wax works great.!

One vital stop in Sacramento was to visit the @cyberguys.shop just 20 min down the road from Aftershock! I met some of the incredible engineers, designers, salespeople, and marketing gurus behind some of my favorite gear. And of course we had some fun in the warehouse. 😂

I know you’re dreaming about a job that lets you travel.

Because proximity matters.

Your closest friends might end up living in Dubai, Scotland, Spain, or three flights away from wherever you technically call home.

Over 25 people showed up with less than 24 hours’ notice for the INAUGURAL Built Pretty meetup. Several drove over an hour each way. 🥹

The people of Sacramento are pretty great:)))
We laughed, shared stories, made connections, and supported each other. I left so inspired by the people I met.

And it made something clear: connecting people and creating opportunities is a huge part of what I want Built Pretty to do.

This is a tutorial on how to correctly use a ratchet strap. In the video, I am using an endless loop ratchet strap, but the same exact technique works for Hook to Hook, E track, really any kind. Because the ratcheting mechanism is the exact same.
