We’re thrilled to share that Built By Hammond has been awarded a special commendation for our recent project, Beach Close, at the @masterbuildersvic Regional Building Awards 2024!

As a small family business, we’re proud to be recognized alongside some of the best names in the industry and congrats to all the winners, nominees and their outstanding projects.

Thank you to our incredible team, trades, and suppliers along with Studio A2 @studioa2architect for the amazing design and of course… our incredible clients, Sam and Nic. Your trust and support means the world to us!

LOCKWOOD

Externally this home is something different. Woodland Grey weatherboards give a moody yet classy feel. The copper light fixtures complement the rich colour in the spotted gum decking.

It may have taken 6 guys to get those stone steps in place but how much does a few stepping stones and some mulch finish off this area! 😮‍💨🙌

LIFE

This one makes me smile…. What a journey it’s been so far!
There is something incredible about building something special with the people around you and we definitely have that.

At the core of that, absolute passion and appreciation for every moment we get to do what we enjoy.

Wouldn’t trade this life for anything!

There’s nothing better than a bold splash of colour. Now combine that with copper fixtures and fittings and you’re onto a winner.

How good do these combinations work together here at Project Lockwood?!

And yes, that’s a cheeky hydronic heating panel tucked under the kitchen bench! 🙌

THE ESPLANADE TWINS

After our clients endured a casual 5 year process for the subdivision to come through, the blocks have titled and these two are finally getting close! Plans are now ready for construction as we work through the final stages of our Design & Build process.

Designed together and sitting side by side, but two very different homes. On the left, modern minimalist architecture. On the right, a classic white weatherboard beach house.

Which one’s more your style, left or right?

Kicking off in the next few months! 🔥 Let’s Go!!

LOCKWOOD

We love a splash of colour and project Lockwood is one of our favourites!
It still amazes me what an impact such a small extension can have on a home… How it feels, how you use it, how you live.

Lockwood is an absolute gem, stay tuned for more! 🤝

PS, Geez I love our team! Elite work by all 🖤

BOURKE

It isn’t for the faint hearted taking on a project like this but in some ways it’s better to know what you’re dealing with rather than finding these issues when you strip the walls back!

What do you think, would you tackle this as a home owner? We sure can’t wait to get started!

LOCKWOOD 🏁🏁

And that’s a wrap! What an incredible project and what an enjoyable journey. The team absolutely nailed this one. It didn’t come without its challenges but I am so proud of how my team handled every step. @benposullivan you’re a superstar! Absolutely love the way you go about it.
Thank you to our amazing clients! They put a lot of trust in us to come into their home, design something that ticked their boxes then go about bringing it to life…. And how good are the results!

Stay tuned for part 2 and some of the amazing details as we unpack them over the next week 🔥❤️
