Finishing up a couple signs before the holiday. Still figuring things out on my @onefinitycnc. I used a 1/4 end mill to clean out most of the material then finished with a 45 degree V bit. You can see the difference in the two bits by looking at the “O” with all the fuzzies. Have really enjoyed learning new things this year and I’m looking forward to mastering this skills next year. #builtxbrent #onefinitycnc #spetool by @builtxbrent

Been a busy bee making these serving boards. They are made with black walnut that was cut down a few years ago. I milled up as much as I could and have been patiently drying it. We brought these boards up to the the 1000 islands yesterday and dropped them off at @theguzzle.tipark. If you are in the area stop in and say hello. This time of year is usually a little slower for me so I’m looking back at past projects. This was easily my favorite creation from last year. I use this thing daily. I like the design so much that my brother and father also carry one of these around daily. Last year I purchased a rotary tool for my laser that allows me to engrave these bottles. Back in the workshop! Made this sweet black walnut cutting board yesterday. Takes about 10 minutes to cut this 16” x 11” board out on the CNC. Next up some laser engraving. #builtxbrent by @builtxbrent

Absolutely loved making this box for a friends wedding. Black walnut grain wrapped around the box perfectly. Fit was so tight I should have provided instructions for opening. #builtxbrent by @builtxbrent

Made this cool little ornament for my wife. It’s the least I could do as she has been baking up a storm the past six months. After many attempts she finally got a sourdough starter to survive and she hasn’t slowed down since. This week we enjoyed some delicious dinner rolls and s’mores cookies made from her sourdough discard. If you or someone you know is into sourdough this is a perfect gift. Available on my Etsy. Ripped out a closet to rearrange my bedroom. Haven’t finished the remodel yet but this is my target for finished project. Cozy little space to fall asleep and catch some zzzzz. Also posted is the space where the bed used to be. Now a second living space to relax. by @builtxbrent
