All these kids pictured here and some that are not pictured made me so proud, in 2023, I was providing scholastic materials and everything they needed to be in school through so many difficult avenues and unfortunately, I had personal setbacks in 2024, that made me focus only on their tuition, against all odds in 2024 and 2025 they have applied themselves really well in school and have been promoted to the next class!!
I have a small center I rent as our meeting place, but it can be very hard sometimes to track down these kids(it's a village and their gaurdians don't even have cell phones). Our Center and all the children under the center's care have been struggling to have sustainable and reliable sponsorship to continue getting educational support and other day to day utilities, especially because I had personal setbacks, yet it's me who has always been hands on with everything!! I almost quit, and I was giving up until I learned that even the school they attended almost shut down, I set up a campaign and got some of the tools necessary for the school to continue, that's when it hit me really hard that even though my life is not perfect, I may still use some small tools I have left to not let their dreams be crashed, I set up a fundraiser to help their dreams and my passion to stay alive, if the center is alive, so will the dreams of many children, I honestly do not have any tricks up my sleeves to make this more visible, I have worked extremely hard for children in my community to never let the flickering flames of their candle of dreams to not die, and hopefully my new campaign in the bio can be seen and supported.
1. We need our center functioning well(rent, water, and electricity)
2.We need school tuition and a meal at school guaranteed.
3. Medical emergencies attended to always
4. Basic needs as young human beings is a right, one shouldn't be denied but assisted with.
5. At the very least, a meal served in a day at the center or just over the weekend.
6. Clothes, blankets, bedsheets, shoes, and so many other things that a kid with no parents in the picture would need.

1/4 village's children got some water bottles looking forward to the next group.
The water bottle distribution was to make sure kids carried boiled drinking water from home, safe to drink at all times while at school, gardens, playgrounds or mostly those who trek long distances between school and home to have water at all times to quench their thirst.
In doing so, a number of diseases like cholera and bilharzia, among others, that stem from drinking dirty water from springs, ponds, and in other cases like piped water can be prevented rather than cured in our already poor health sector in villages

These kids are gentle, sweet and genuinely innocent I hope God makes it easy for them🙏

We are looking forward to donating water bottles to kids across villages soon but in the wake of it, I revisited one of my favorite memories with some children, handing out some footwear and these were like really nice crocs and look at how everyone was showing off their new colorful crocs.
I cannot wait for the new chapter of giving out some water bottles in the next few days to kids who walk 5km without safe drinking water, bottles to be used at school or gardens or playgrounds and hopefully everyone is excited.

This is why we are fundraising for a Van. 🚐
Every face you see is representative of children from four villages and slums in townships I serve in Eastern and central Uganda, they wait for food, medicine, clothes, footwear, bedsheets, blankets and some school supplies, A lot of this is ready in town as donations. we just need wheels to get it to them consistently, We are at 25% of our goal. Not just one. Not just a few. Every child.
These bags, these books, these smiles are just the start. The plan is to make sure every child in the village has what they need for school, a meal at school, home or our center, a bed to sleep in, their personal and sanitary hygiene to be good, and be able to receive care when they're sick or even just monthly check ups
No child will be left behind in the same struggle alone.
This is why we need a van. To carry supplies, food, and hope from village to village and to get kids to school and to the clinic when they need it.
