Hermit crabs can be a great clean up crew addition, but what about when they get a bit wild? This little guy left the safety of his shelly home to wander the great blue of our saltwater aquarium.

Enough light and flow for yah? 😜
I must say that it’s really satisfying to see that long row of illumination. I also use the focused lenses on the X4’s meaning that I can have them far above the tank without getting tons of glare or light spill.

The deep blue ❤️ for a coupe of weeks I’ve been having an issue with hazy water that wasn’t affected by ozone, UV, roller filter, coral snow or activated carbon.
If there’s two things I think makes a reef tank look like crap it’s water that’s not gin clear or a dirty sand bed…so this annoyed me terribly.
After talking to my buddy @aarondus he suggested loading up a reactor with filter floss…and it freaking worked! I have no idea what it was or how the issue started but it’s not an issue anymore.
I was about ready to start dosing hydrogen peroxide, hooking up a diatom filter and a bunch of other weird jazz 😅
