New baby coming soon ❤️ #geomydaspengleri #captivebred #turtle #tiny #blackbreastedleafturtle

Black-Breasted Leaf Turtle 🐢🤎

One of the smallest turtle species in the world! These tiny guys are native to Vietnam and China and are known for their big eyes and leaf-shaped shells. They’re endangered in the wild and hard to breed in captivity, so finding a captive-bred baby was a bit of a wait.

This little cutie hatched October 2nd and will be making its way to me from Montreal soon! 🥹🌿 by @bulldogstone
