100% Wool Shirt Jacket

Understated quality - a characteristic that both Makina and Bulletproof strive to maintain. This wool shirt has Porsche houndstooth pepita details sewn into the inside of the shoulders and underneath the pocket flaps and cuffs - mimicking the interior of the flagship Bulletproof Restorations Scout. Buttoned up, it has a beautiful unbranded silhouette. The subtle details are up to you to share. The preorder for this shirt is now live on the website until Monday, March 4th at 8pm.

*Please allow approximately 4 weeks after the preorder closure to manufacture and ship this piece

I don’t even want to bring up how long this has been in the works, because Jake is just going to give me shit. As he has since the concept was even brought up. Lovingly…none the less still giving me shit 😂. But just like a Bulletproof Restorations build, all details of this project were thought through and executed with the highest quality materials. Making something out of nothing except an original thought took way more time than we expected. We’re excited to share this with you all. More to come real soon.

Proud to announce a formal partnership between @current.losangeles & @bulletproofrestorations. Vintage 4x4 has the capacity to be cooler than ever with full electric drivetrains. Made better still with the finishing touches of a Bulletproof Restorations restored car.

This particular 1967 #internationalscout 800 will contain 4 fully custom built water-cooled battery packs composed of 41 VDA modules for a total of 107kWh at 606v and managed with an Orion2 BMS. The entire battery system will be completely hidden away from sight. The vehicle will have upwards of 550HP, approximately 265 mile range, and be able to do the Kessel Run in 11.8 par secs.

When Jake, founder of @bulletproofrestorations, approached us for a unique keypiece, his keen eye was drawn to the distinctive rear window design of the International Scout. While this truck was originally engineered for utility, its sleek and modern rear window added a touch of style that couldn't be ignored.
Together, we recognized that this form represented an ideal ambassador for a vehicle that perfectly balanced utility and elegance. In the end, our keypiece stands as a pocket-sculpture, a homage to the original, celebrating its enduring legacy in both form and function. #unlockyourtreasure 💎 taken in Los Angeles, California by @bulletproofrestorations

Cars aren’t just tools. They provide the canvas in which we paint our stories, create our memories, and connect to those we love. As automotive designers a large part of our passion is in working on cars, products, and objects that hold meaning in our lives. #unlockyourtreasure taken in Los Angeles, California by @bulletproofrestorations

American SUV history traces its roots back to the CJ Jeep, but it truly came to life with the birth of the International Scout. Sporting features like fold-down windshields and vacuum-powered wipers in its inaugural model year, the Scout often remains the unsung hero that ignited Ford's inspiration for the Bronco.
In homage to this icon, a limited production of keypieces has been crafted for Bulletproof Restorations, where Scouts are reborn & relived. taken in Los Angeles, California by @bulletproofrestorations
