Oh man...so, the rats are an issue and I'm worried they have a nest but this little interaction is pulling on my heartstrings 😭❤️. They're all just a bit too close for my liking with two younglings actually running around me yesterday 🙈🐀.
Tomorrow my dad will be coming to try and make sure they move onwards. In a nice way. Allotment life huh.

One of my rogue Gladioli from a year gone by. I have no idea if the kind as it cropped up, pun intended, beside the compost bin but it's a beaut ☺️💚.

4kg of tomatoes 🍅 made saucy and frozen for later. If there's an apocalypse soon, I'll be ok for a bit.

Little beaut of a roast for my wraps tonight! All from the greenhouse, apart from the mushrooms anyway. Pepps gene, last few tomatoes, onion and chilli.
Disclosure, I did hoy a loaf of halloumi on near the end too 🤣.

GARLIC & LEEK 🧄
I've planted 70 garlic which some might say is mad. Possibly my husband. I think it's genius.
Only 5 Leeks going but they'll be good for Winter I should think. Nice that something is growing still 🥰

Despite owning an allotment I am not fond of the eight legged creatures and hate opening my potato bags each year to find a whole town of spiders ready to greet me.
In an effort to be organised this year's are now clean, dry and stored in a nice spider proof container 🕷️. Boring winter jobs are now happening! by @bumbling_and_roots

Loving the Hungarian Peppers & Jalapeños and these deep purple colours! Still doing their best despite the temperature drops. Some will go for pickling 🫙😋.

A flying visit and feeling very neglectful as I've been away a lot this month. The carrots and flowers are holding up well and the sunsets are happening much earlier!
Once I'm back I'll be starting on....WINTER JOBS!

Away from the plot this week so found myself some rodents in Prague. I LOVE these coypus and had to see them again after my last visit ❤️.

The instructions said some by September but I was a couple of days late 😔🙈. Hoping to get my winter spinach fix to see me through the saag paneer for a bit 😋.

2nd Early Jamieson Potatoes.
Absolutely not early but hey ho. They've got a nice snowy colour. But if scab going on but I can cope with that. Would definitely grow these again so need to remember them for next year 🥔.
