its wild whenever my friends get married- i love it of course, but it really makes you feel how fast life moves.

had a nice lil roadtrip to the U.P. to capture and celebrate amber and kenny's day.

a few selects with jace from last month

though it does pain me a bit and still doesn't sit fully well with me, gotta post a bit for the engagement of course since I'll be traveling soon here (he said anxiously tbh).

it has been a difficult month for evident reasons, but ive just been drained- and its more difficult to peel yourself out of a depression to want to make things again as im sure is a bit shared through everyone recently. BUT though the world is still on stilts here (to put it the least downer way i can), ive always had the hard realization that things in their weird way have to keep going.

so i'll be popping in here and there as capacity allows and posting occasionally to make sure people don't think I've just disappeared. but I hope everyone is continuing to stay as safe as they can and finding peace or hope in the little moments between the chaos. taken in Studio Apparatus by @bummerphoto

development for nyarout.

one of my last outdoor sessions for this year (idk never say never, maybe ill brace the snow for the vibes). photographing outdoors was a big thing for me this year which doesn't feel like that all big of an accomplishment, but for a creature of habit I maintain that it is. while I love the comfort and control of a studio, natural light will just never beat it.

honestly it was a good exercise of just remembering how light...works? if that makes sense? idk maybe im a weirdo but I love just looking at light. when im driving or a passenger I'll just notice a good pattern or quality in a sunset that just makes me want to grab a camera. there was a lot more of looking and searching based on light for any session I had this past year more so than the previous. like ive said before, that search kinda made me excited again about photography. by @bummerphoto
