[my name is Hidaya, I am Somali. My mother was born in Tanzania and my father in Ethiopia. I have ties throughout the east and that’s why I wanted to share more about where I come from. The strawberry matcha with matcha foam was 10/10
Matcha in San Diego is kinda a hit or miss but this one definitely hit & the owner was so nice she even gave us an extra drink to try 🫶🏾

[ my first negative review ]
The owner made my friends and I move tables to let other people sit ( people he knows). When we first got there, there was no seatings so we had to sit on that couch ( there was three of us). So when he asked us to sit somehwhere else it didn’t make sense when there was room on the opposite side of the cafe at that point for them ( there was 4 of them) which still didn’t meet there “ 6 people rule”.. but he wanted them to have the couch. He made my friends and I pack up our stuff that we were studying and move. And we stood there for a few minutes to figure out where we would even sit that would fit all three of us and our stuff/ also just stunned that we even had to get up. Again on the opposite side there was one couch free that wasn’t when we first got there which they could have sat in…
Harassed us when we would order… when it had only been 10 min
I used to go to Delah all the time in the Bay Area and the one in San Diego is honestly been terrible. Not planning on coming back or supporting due to the staff

Their fall drinks are really good [ carrot cake latte 8.5] and their seating is nice as well.
For studying they have the big three ( WiFi, charger outlets, and a bathroom) so you can study for hours
