I’ve been curious about this mountain for years! About 2 hours from Durham, I would pass this everytime I drove home to Ohio.

Now I can check this off my list 📝

Thankfully we ran into a park ranger, helping us plan our hike If I had it my way wed be doing a whole 10mile hike lol.

Hung out with my bestfriend, my bestfriend’s bestfriend, my sister, my mom & siblings (my 22 yr old sister has the best music taste thanks to my dad & I lol), caught some afrobeats with good company, got my M&M’s🍗 (iykyk, Eastside baby), it snowed like crazy & I had the wrong shoes lol…

And best of all I got to spend 3 long weeks at home.

I don’t think I’ve ever been able to do that until circumstances (good & bad 😅) aligned. Through this season I’m honoring & cherishing my ability to adapt & be resilient. I’m more clear & absolute in who I am. I know I’m my ancestors favorite. And I always say “I am so grateful for my mind, I pray that it is always sane, no matter what material things I obtain.”
