I ABSOLUTELY ADORE HOW THIS TURNED OUT RAGGHHH!!!!! In honor of my concert today, I really wanted to post a special photo, and this one is very special indeed! 🙌

Saturnz Barz is my favorite Gorillaz song and MV in the entire world, so it is a no brainer that I love making art inspired after it! I feel like we don’t talk about how incredible the messaging behind this song is enough! Each character representing a different disorder/issue is really well done! 👏🩷🪐

MY FAVORITE PHOTO IN THE WORLD IS FINALLY HERE CHAT. This has taken me a whole week to finish and oh my Pazuzu was it SO WORTH IT! 💕🙏 I absolutely adore how each member looks in their respective styles!!! I spent a long time learning about different fashion subcultures and I’ve always wanted to project that knowledge into my art more, so being able to do this was just a true dream come true!!!! And I actually plan to continue to draw them in these outfits in the future too, I’ve got tons of cute art ideas from it! 🤭🎀🩷🐰

MURDOC IS GOTH (hah, sounds like the song!) 🖤🐦‍⬛
2D IS DECORA 🌈🦄🎀💿
NOODLE IS GYARU 💕🌸🐈‍⬛💅🏻💋💄
RUSS IS PUNK 🤘🖤🎸🩶🗑️

I plan to do some reels talking about the process of making this as it’s taken me a lot of time to make it annnnd.. I just want to milk it cuz it’s PEAK! 💓🥹🌈

This is a project I’ve been working on since I first got into Gorillaz, and now it’s finally done!!! I hope you all love the photos as much as I do! Every single one is so beautiful! I put the characters together that simply felt right, and a lot of them have similarities!!!! 🥺💕 I love Trolls and Gorillaz so so much, they have impacted my life in so many positive ways! I’m so grateful! ^^

2D and Branch!!! The two blue haired singers with lots of trauma, PTSD and the need for painkillers! 💊🩵🥺 I felt that these two had way too much in common, so they must go together! And to make things even better, these two are my sister’s favorite characters as well!!! 💙🩵

Creek and Murdoc!!!! These two are my favorite characters from each franchise and I fear they have way too much in common! Creek was a charismatic, charming villain who ended up betraying his village for his own personal gain, garnerning lots of hate in the fandom! And Murdoc? Well, he is also quite the crook! He constantly would bully and threaten 2D, especially back in the earlier phases. These two are cruel jerks, but ones I truly enjoy and love with all my heart! And funny enough, Murdoc has actually shown growth and change over time, however Creek’s has been completely artificially built up.. He probably regrets nothing lol! 💜💚

Noodle and Viva!!!! I don’t know why, but these two just seem like they’d get along so well! I think it’s because they are both cute, sweet and fun party girls! BUT they also have loads of confidence and strength, able to defend their friends/village whenever needed. These two in a room against enemies would truly be such a killer scene!!!! KICKA** GIRLS FOR LIFE! 🤘

BRUCE AND RUSS!!!! The two Dads who would be talking for hours about how proud they are of their little gals. Bruce and Russ have such a chill demeanor, it makes so much sense that they’d have so much in common! And it seems they are pretty popular with the ladies too! 😏

DEL AND KING TROLLEX!!!!!! These two are total blue party people!!!! They taken in Trolls by @bunnisgraveyard

And I’ve got a second part of The Shining x Gorillaz coming sooonnn 👀 I thought Plastic Beach was the best era to mix with this movie because that’s when everything was a little.. spooky to say the least xD

The Weird Girl from Frankenweenie and her adorable fluffy Mr. Whiskers!!!! 🥺🐰💕 I just rewatched this film and I swear it gets better every year I grow older, I start to understand the complexities of the characters and the overall plot more and more and it’s just such a well made film! So underrated! 🐶🎀🩷

Also me and my sisters now joke that Nassor is literally Murdoc’s twin, just watch the film with the lense of him being like Murdoc and you’ll see what we mean 😂💕🌈

BUNNIWEEN DAY 9: GORILLAZ ART DUMP! 💕🐇

WOWWWW what a shock! I’ve got TONZ of Gorillaz art to share with you all! So I thought it’d be nice to do a little art dump since there’s so much! And some of these are more silly little doodles than proper photos anyways!!! I have so much fun drawing these characters, they are all so different and unique and it makes for such a fun experience every single time! 🥹💕🎀🐰

Thank you all so much for all your support on my Gorillaz art, joining this fandom will forever be my greatest gift and I’m so happy that I get to share my artwork with all of you!!!! 💞🥺

#gorillaz #gorillazart #arttrade #artcollab #2dgorillaz

First up we’ve got a photo of Kiki x 2D for an art trade with the lovely @_syxarts_ !!!!! I love their OCs design and lore so it was about time I drew him!!!!! 💞🥹 I also recieved some adorable Murdoc art in return so I’m very happyyyy YIIPPPEEEE!!!! :D

PEAK ART FOR THE WONDERFUL AND LOVELY @damonalbarnisluv !!!!!! My twin for life 🤞🤑 I absolutely LOOOVE how this turned out! I really wanted to do a photo with a lot of lighting, a unique pose AND that showed off her back scar! Dude, I’m just obsessed.. WE COOKED! And I had to ref one of my fav songs from Song Machine with the Pink Phantom! I think Murdoc needs to grab that girl before she interrupts them (yess the phantom is a girllll) 😭💞🐰💅🏻

MURDY COMFORTING YOUUU!!!!! 🥹💕 It was so hard to figure out what he’d say, but I think him using comedy to cope is a very fitting thing for him! RAGH I WANNA GIVE HIM TONS OF CUDDLESSS! I love drawing The Mountain Murdoc! :D

RUSS COMFORTING YOUUUUUUU!!!!!! I NEED A HUG FROM HIM ALWAYSSS! 🤗🥹💕

2D COMFORTING YOUUU! I know the 2D simps will really love this one! 💕🥺 2D is my comfort character alongside the rest of the band, they always make me smile and giggle like no other! What a sweetheart! 🥹🥹🥹

NOODLE WITH A BONSEY PLUSH! I mean god, she’s just so adorableee!!!! 🥹🥹🥹 I absolutely loved drawing that plush, even if it was a bit of a hassle to be honest lmfaooo! 💕🎀🤑🙏

THIS PHOTO TURNED OUT SO EPIC IT’S NOT EVEN FUNNY!!!!!! It was so hard to make but so worth it!!!!! I inspired it after a couple of images, but most importantly a photo from Jamie Campbell Bower of this gorgeous church he found! 🤭🩷🎀 I absolutely love this song and music video with all my heart, it’s so full of incredible sfx, storytelling and of course lots of cute Murdy! ^_^ I really love seeing him all lovey dovey for Moonflower! 🥺🙏

I hope you all love this photo as much as I do, I truly adore this song so much and I wanted to pay homage to it as best as possible! This era could never be hated by me.. I just love everything about it! 🐰🥺💕🩸
