it’s been long, feeling heavy and i had to share ᜊᜊᜊ from Jeddah to here 🤍

Sometimes I feel heavy—
I mustn’t lie.
Most days,
I carry more than I know how to name.

And on the days it gets too much,
I lean into someone,
hoping their arms might make me lighter.

But somehow,
I leave carrying more.

What a strange thing,
to feel misunderstood
by the very people
you tried so hard to understand.

I think I’ve spent my whole life
giving people pieces of myself—
my time, my patience, my love—
and somehow,
it was never enough.

So I wonder
if I was ever meant to be understood,
or if I was only meant
to keep trying. by @bunnyzdiary

if only I could find the pieces I lost.
But the truth is, I don’t even know when I started losing them. It didn’t happen all at once. It was quiet, almost invisible. Little parts of me slipping away in ways I didn’t notice at the time.
Now I’m here, trying to make sense of everything, trying to feel something real again… but it’s like I’ve been disconnected from myself for so long that I don’t know what “real” is supposed to feel like anymore.
And maybe that’s the hardest part not the losing, but not knowing what I’m trying to find. by @bunnyzdiary

We are soft, handed beings
Palms shaped for holding..
a cup of tea
a trembling cat
each other.

Our voices were made for lullabies,
for whispering stay
instead of fight.

And yet we built sharp edged worlds,
marching beneath the skies.
Skies that never asked for smoke.

How strange ..
that hearts so easily bruised
can still choose to bruise the earth.

Perhaps the tragedy is not
that we are cruel
but that we are gentle,
