Science is working on making dogs live longer - but I would still trade years of my life to them while we wait. by @bunsenberner.bmd

Most cats LOVE to climb, and given the chance they love to climb trees. Trees give them height, safety, and perfect ambush position. Obviously it's not super safe to let your cat climb trees unleashed as they may not come down, so you can simulate trees in your house with tall structures for them to climb. The taller the better!

The fence is done!!! (Well except for the electric gate) and it’s a massive life changing upgrade to our property.
We have SOLD out of our calendar and those sales plus so many generous donations allowed Kris and I to build a safe paradise for our new golden girls.
Everyone LOVES it! Thank you so much!!! by @bunsenberner.bmd

Did you know there are HIDDEN LAKES underneath Antarctica?! Kilometres beneath all that ice are hundreds of lakes filled with liquid water. You would think they would be frozen solid, but pressure from the massive ice sheet above and heat coming from deep inside the Earth help keep some of that water liquid. That means underneath what looks like one giant frozen wasteland is a secret world of water, valleys, mountains and even rivers. Beaker has just one question: can she dig to swim in them?

Did you know that Kris and I are teachers? During the busy work week many nights we prep and mark while the pets doze. Brix does not doze. He sits on assignments. Sorry math student, your quiz has a famous cat butt on it

Seeing Bernoulli play with our new girls was pretty heart warming. They came out of their shell, ran freely and swam. Bernoulli was right there with his new family members

This week in Texts From Bunsen we deal with an expected development. Don’t worry- it’s ok and isn’t anything we can’t deal with! It does make for good comedy. 🤣 by @bunsenberner.bmd

Day five saw all the dogs getting more and more comfortable with each other. Libby (the light golden) has come out of her shell quicker than Lucy (the color) who is still very timid. Time will tell help.

Bunsen LOVES to roll on the grass. One reason dogs love to roll on the grass is the fact that dogs have scent glands on their bodies, and rolling leaves their unique scent behind to mark territory or pick up other smells, It’s a combo of “I was here” and “Who was here?”
