So happy to share the cover I illustrated and designed for the third book in the St. Swans series by @susieainsworthauthor 🤍 I love the soft pink palette we ended up choosing for this one. Susie, I can’t believe we’re already on book three! It’s always so lovely coming back to St. Swans with you 🫶🏽

Swipe to see a bit of the process.

COVER REVEAL!

So happy to finally share The Annoyingly Attractive Neighbor by @chloemaxeyauthor 🤍

I had a lot of fun playing with the color on this one. I wanted to keep the background almost monochromatic and let the characters and typography really stand out against it. Chloe, thank you so much for trusting me with this cover 🫶🏽🫶🏽.

Swipe to see the alternate sketch and a bit of the process.

It’s honestly pretty sad how much time artists have to spend now proving that their work was actually made by them and not by AI. And it keeps getting harder, because AI is getting better so fast, even at copying things like process videos.

I really love seeing artists support other artists. It makes such a difference 🤍.

If you love human-made art, please show artists some love too. Like their posts, leave a comment, share their work. It really helps, and it also helps you see more real artists in your feed.

And thank you @micaelaalcainodesign for this post and for supporting artists 🫶🏽

I just finished the first book and absolutely loved it, so of course I had to draw Sybil.

Happy to share another illustration I made for Sunday Morning Usual by @awitchofliterarymagic 🤍

This is my absolute favorite scene in the book, and I’m so happy I got to draw it.
And I’ve officially drawn Harper and Josh four times each now 😁

Thank you so much, Reyna, for trusting me with Josh and Harper again 🫶🏽

Here’s that illustration I made for Sunday Morning Usual by @awitchofliterarymagic that has had me eating Asian food for the past few months 🤣

I wasn’t even hungry while looking for references, reading the book, or working on this scene, but somehow I wanted Asian food the whole time.

And if you’d like to support Reyna and Sunday Morning Usual, her Kickstarter is live now. You can find it through the link in her bio 🤍

On the final cover, you only see a small part of the gate, so it looks pretty simple.

For the animation, I had to extend it beyond the final cover, and I also removed some details from my first sketch to keep the background a little cleaner.

This cover was drawn across multiple Procreate canvases because I’ll never have enough layers 😤.

I want to share a few more parts of this cover over the next posts.

Drawing is one thing… recording the process and editing the videos is a whole different job. I’m terrible at sharing the process 😅. I’m trying to get better.
