My beautifully made @beesputty tools, hand and spider jigs made by the amazing @stefaniuskulpturen , not forgetting his lovely Beesputty polymer clay. The new formulation is much quicker condition without the need for external warming

First attempt at marble with polymer clay, reasonably happy with the result. I did forget to add some Liquid Sculpey, so some bits haven't stuck together properly. The grey is darker and a bit too plentiful. The white sections i want to be bigger next time, that should also spread out the black veins as well. Lessons learnt for the next attempt. Hasn't been baked yet either, don't know if that would change anything.

OK, I think we are done with Minka Lesk! Just waiting on approval from the client and she can go home. Nose looks good in the flesh and is on par with the original, so happy there. Slimmed down the hair "tail" at the back as it was getting too thick with too many layers

Minka Lesk Rhinoplasty complete! Hopefully this one will stay on this time. Tried something a little different, I mixed blue hardener (GS) with white resin (procreate), 60:40 roughly. Stuck nicely to the mini, and soft enough to gently manipulate into shape.

WARNING!! TURN VOLUME DOWN BEFORE PLAYING, REMOVE HEADPHONES!!

Old video of my Jigsaw paint shaker, it worked perfectly, but it had to be out in the shed/workshop. I had though about rebuilding it using a quiet electric motor and more refined paint cradle etc. The cradle can hold ALL paint pots and bottles. There was an insert for use with GW bottles

WIP: Managed to get some time on this today. I've lost count how many times I've redone it now, either because I wasn't happy with it, or the cured putty didn't adhere to the previous layer.
Still got the spike to finish, but that was a bit that didn't stick, so I glued it in place. Looking to finish that after the morning school run

Did this tester base back in 2016 an was my first attempt at doing a marble effect using 0000 Steel Wool as a mask for the airbrushing. They are a bit washed out, which probably why I never posted them. So I think I'll re-do it as a step by step and re-post if theirs enough interest. Especially now I've got the new 2024 Infinity
Just posting them because I told Byron that baby wipes are shit, 😂🤣😘
I did try to find the original tutorial that I got the idea from without any luck, I know it involved an Eldar Jetbike, but that's about it. I did find a video by @33claydog on Youtube, which could be the one as the timeline is about right

Current Commission work: Minka's new Hairdo!!! Forgot to take a pic before I started adding the putty, so had to take one of my personal kit. Commission is for a new hair do as per clients drawing, unfortunately her nose got severely squashed during transit. Just added some putty in place for now and will trim back when cured. Similarly just got the basic hair shape in and curing before i build up the volumes

Started adding the teeth back, kept the original teeth which just needed repositioning, so only need to sculpt about half a dozen or so small teeth and not 20+!
Need to make his tongue more Orca like, and lengthen it. Bulked up the snout a bit yesterday during the @siegestudios Hobby Hangout, which was cool

Been a slight change in direction of the Mozrog conversion. Didn't want to go with the Shark them most people have, but I was inspired by the @doistudio Hammerhead. So now there will be an Ork on an Orka Squig!! Still lots of sculpting to do.
