New tune I wrote after the ICE murders in Minneapolis. I played it at the #nokings march in beacon, but no one really seemed to pay much attention (except for @daisycutter of course, thank you Sarah). Anyway, my friend @_enoughness_ encouraged me to share it so here are the lyrics.

There are no moderates among fascists
No jackboots for pacifists just doing their jobs
When the only due process you get
Is a trial by firing squad

They label activists domestic terrorists
Retaliation forbidden against a government
Run by pedophile rapist zionists
Affiliated with the mossad.

And they’re staking out daycares and churches and disappearing persons
No warrants for conducting their illegal searches
We’ll be protecting our neighborhoods just like Alex pretti and Rene Nicole good

From immigration, detainment concentration camps.
Once occupied by indigenous tribes
Of the American genocide
Of the ho-chunk and Dakota

So mark yourself safe from incursion and pestilence.
The terrorism used on Palestinians
Clouds of tear gas, pepper spray, and flash grenades
While they leave you alone you can mark yourself safe

Over the course of the last week, I, Buoy George, have had 3 shows in 7 days with 3 different projects. It was an incredible time and with everything going on in my daily life I can’t believe I actually followed through with such an experience! I’d like to thank everyone who came out, the compadres in my new(ish) pseudo-noise band Alaskan Extraction, @ggordongritty for an incredible performance, @kwen_kafou for providing a unique and amazing performance space, @b.francis.music and @seanryanmakesmusic for their inspiring performances, @draughtindustries for always being accommodating and supportive, and @herrclair and beacon’s best new venue @luckydogbeacon for a lovely Saturday night! Oh and can’t forget @idiotaband, a band that is an absolute joy to share a bill with and will be in the running for best local rock band for much of the future!

It was a whirlwind type of week. That’s all for now.
