two days until the first day of recruitment ! here’s some kind words from shayna about keeping your heart open🎀🦋:

“If there was one piece of advice I could give, it is to go into recruitment with an open heart and open mind. It’s cliché, I know, but it is true. You never know who you will meet, and they can even become your best friends. My Pi Chi ended up becoming my g-big. My favorite travel buddy started as someone I walked to parties with, even though we ended up in different sororities. My best friend and roommate was in my Pi Chi group. In the end, I am so grateful for the process, as I found my forever home, and I cannot wait to support you all in this journey. Each chapter has amazing women who want to build community, and they are so excited to welcome you in. Trust the process and trust yourself. “Recruitment can be a very daunting process; it’s a hectic weekend and it’s completely normal to be anxious. If you feel overwhelmed, just remember that every girl around you is navigating those same feelings. You aren’t going through this alone and you should absolutely lean on one another.

So much will be happening at once but try to spend some spare moments with yourself and remind yourself of who you are. All of the effort and energy you put in now is so worth it when you finally get to run home to your future sisters. There is truly no better feeling than finding a lifelong sisterhood that supports you, and that’s exactly what’s waiting for you at the finish line.” by @bupanhel

“Going through recruitment can feel incredibly overwhelming, but try to go in with an open mind. Be yourself and pay attention to how each chapter makes you feel when you walk out the door. Trust the process, the right chapter will make you feel at home. And most importantly have fun with it! Recruitment is a chance to meet awesome people, learn about different sisterhoods, and the opportunity to find a place that helps you grow and feel supported!“ by @bupanhel

introducing our new series: advice from a pi chi (recruitment counselor)!! first up, cameron:

“Remember that recruitment is FUN!! Don’t stress yourself out worrying about saying the right thing or acting the right way, just be yourself! At the end of the day, you’re here to make friends and find a sisterhood, and the best way to do that is to put forth authenticity and just trust the process. Also remember to be kind to yourself and prioritize your mental and physical health. Recruitment is so much more enjoyable when you’re well-rested, hydrated, and fueled by nutritious food! It’s easy to feel overwhelmed, so bring some headphones, maybe a book, and have some quiet time in between parties. Most importantly, remember that your PiChis are here for you! We’ve all been through recruitment before, so don’t be afraid to ask for help or support if you need it🩷” by @bupanhel
