If you’ve never heard of the @burbankparented program, here’s why generations of local families have loved it for more than 60 years.

First things first: the adults are the students! Classes are for parents, grandparents and caregivers, with Parent & Child classes grouped by the age of your little one so you can meet other families navigating the same stage of childhood.

So how does class work? In many of the Parent & Child classes, adults partner up and take turns. While half head into a neighboring classroom for a teacher-led discussion, the other half stay with the children as they play. Then they switch, so everyone gets dedicated time to learn, ask questions and connect with other caregivers. A teaching assistant also remains with the children.

Discussions cover topics like child development, age-specific challenges, community resources, school readiness and other real-life parenting topics. Meanwhile, kids get opportunities for play, arts and crafts, music, stories, movement and socialization.

And Parent Ed isn’t only for families with little ones! FREE adult-only classes are available for parents of elementary and middle school-aged children, focusing on supporting kids academically and socially/emotionally.

It’s a place to learn, make friends, find support and build your parenting village. ❤️

Registration is open throughout the semester as space allows.

Please bring the family to Open House Saturday August 22nd this event is open to everyone!!! We will also be having Orientation for already enrolled students. We will have a face painter and someone making balloon animals. The Burbank Public Library Bookmobile will be there as well! Families are welcome to tour classrooms and try out the playground! Join Teacher Jackie Tuesday afternoons for a cooking class with your 3-6 year old! This is a great way to introduce working in the kitchen and preparing meals for your little one. Remember scholarships are available! Registration starts on Monday August 10th! by @burbankparented
