💙 Welcoming Future Students to IBU! We were delighted to welcome a large group of students from Fourth Gymnasium Ilidža to International Burch University! 🎓 During their visit, students had the opportunity to learn more about our university, explore the academic opportunities we offer, and discover our Department of Information Technologies, with a special focus on its study programmes and practical approach to learning. 💻 It was a pleasure to meet so many curious and ambitious young minds! Thank you for visiting IBU. We hope to see you again soon! 💙 by @burchuniversity
Students from the Department of Information Technologies visited BH Telecom Backstage 2026, vol. 2. Under the slogan “People behind the technology. Your story starts here.”, undergraduate and master’s students, accompanied by Assist. Prof. Dr. Fatima Mašić, got a look behind the screen and met the teams building solutions used by thousands of people every day. They learned how BH Telecom’s chatbot works and who built it, how MLOps and data are used to predict customer churn, where 5G stands today and where it is heading, and what the future of mobile payments looks like. Students also heard from participants of BH Telecom’s summer school, learned about career opportunities and talked with professionals from different teams over coffee. Thank you @bhtelecom for the invitation and a great experience.🧡💙 by @burchuniversity
First-year students from the Department of Digital Communications and Public Relations at International Burch University visited BH Radio 1 on October 21 as part of their Media Ecosystems course. During their tour of the Radio and Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina headquarters, known as the “Grey Home” (Sivi dom), students learned about radio broadcasting and programme production. They explored the radio archives, listening to original archival recordings on equipment used during the Yugoslav era and learning about the importance of preserving audio heritage. The visit also included the radio drama recording studio, the main BH Radio 1 studio, and the Federal Radio studio. This experience allowed students to connect classroom knowledge with practice and gain firsthand insight into radio’s role within the media ecosystem. We thank our host, Samir Čulić, for his warm welcome, time, and engaging introduction to radio history and production. by @burchuniversity
More than lectures. More than a campus. 🌍✈️ Erasmus Days at IBU: Your Next Chapter Starts Abroad! 🇪🇺 Every great journey starts with an opportunity, and Erasmus+ might be yours! 💙 As part of Erasmus Days, we brought our students together to explore the exciting opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme, from studying abroad and discovering new cultures to building international friendships and gaining experiences that last a lifetime. 🌎✨ Our Erasmus+ alumni shared their personal stories, experiences, and lessons learned during their mobility journeys, giving students a glimpse of what awaits beyond the classroom. We also welcomed the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), who introduced their activities and the community that makes the Erasmus experience even more memorable. 🙌 From new destinations to new perspectives, Erasmus+ is about stepping outside your comfort zone, embracing new experiences, and discovering just how far you can go. 📍 Your next chapter could start in another country. Are you ready to turn the page? 💫 by @burchuniversity
📚 A new chapter for the IBU Library! 💙 International Burch University Library is now a full member of the COBISS.BH library and information system, strengthening its connection with libraries across Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. Through our cooperation with the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, IBU students and academic staff will also have access to additional library collections, reading rooms, academic databases, and interlibrary loan services. Another important step towards creating an even stronger academic environment for learning, teaching, and research. 🤝💙 by @burchuniversity
Looking for a way to get more involved at IBU? Students Club Day is your chance to meet our student clubs, discover new interests, and find people who share them. Join us on October 21 from 10 AM to 1 PM on the ground floor of Building B and see what our student community has to offer. Come by and find your people. by @burchuniversity
