saying goodbye is never easy, especially when it’s a farewell to something special.

Burger Up sits just a stone's throw away from our Nashville home, right on the corner of 12th South and Paris Ave, and for these past 16 years it’s been such a pleasure to call them our neighbors.

our neighborhood has seen a lot of changes in that time, but since the very first day they opened their doors on what was once a quiet street, they’ve been a constant for us and our team -- for celebrations big and small, a quick lunch while working at the shop, or simply a place to come together and unwind over a drink after a long day.

but, when it’s all said and done, it’s not the food, or the building, or the street that we’re going to fondly think back on; it’s the people who worked inside this little restaurant. the ones who made it special, carving out a place in our hearts through their joy, warmth, and commitment to making something meaningful -- even if that something was just a meal.

this coming Saturday will be their final day of service, and we encourage those of you who are in Nashville to join us for one last goodbye. for those who aren’t able to make it in person, we’ll also be putting a link in our bio to a fund made in support of the Burger Up team as they make the transition to their next chapter.

we’ll miss ya, @burgerup 💙

We love you so much, Nashville.
It was never about the burgers.
It was always the family and community all of us built over the last 16 years within these 4 walls.

Burger Up forever.
