POSTS STORIES REELS

GOD IS AMAZING.

This past week, I was interviewed for Ryan Shazier's 50 Phenoms. I had a great conversation with Ryan and an amazing experience working with everyone there.

I can't wait to share the episode when the new season debuts. Stay tuned for more details..

God has turned an absolute tragedy for me, my family and friends… into an incredible opportunity to inspire others and share what God can do for them in this life.

BIG SHOUTOUT & THANKS
To @upmchealthbeat and @shazier for the awesome opportunity to share my story on the show. by @burghboyjay

1 Year ago today… September 22, 2022; That should’ve been my death date.

But GOD said it wasn’t my time, yet. After TWO Ruptured Brain Aneurysms, I wasn’t expected to survive let alone walk or see.

BUT GOD…
He is the reason that I was able to beat the odds. And thanks to Him I’ve been blessed with another year and continuation of my life.

“Just sit in the boat with them.”
Jeremiah described one of the ways to help someone through a difficult time in their life.
He’s referencing the Bible, Matthew chapter 8: verse 23

I was just talking with one of the local librarians (who’s also a friend). She’s seen me do a lot of work on the upcoming podcast @carridetalks and she’s inspired by me and another friend she has. Me and the friend are both working towards new ventures.
I then gave a short motivational speech, telling her to never stop dreaming. I ended it with:
“Don’t stop dreaming ‘til they put you in the dirt.”
That goes for all of us.
Don’t stop dreaming. by @burghboyjay

I was in Oakland yesterday, saying goodbye to @daveandandysicecream
While in line, I saw this lamppost that was COVERED in staples from years of flyers…
This moved me because:
Many of us look at ourselves and our lives, as “insignificant” or “unimportant”. Lord knows, I’ve been there!
But when I looked at that lamppost, I saw years and years of “regular people” doing “insignificant” things…
But the mark that was left behind… IS HUGE.
We each, will leave a mark on this world…
You are not insignificant.
You, will leave a mark on this world. by @burghboyjay
