I can’t even put into words how proud I am of myself for finishing this marathon. Months of training, countless miles, sore muscles, early alarms, and days I wanted to give up. Even dealing with injuries along the way. Crossing that finish line wasn’t just about running 26 miles, it was about proving to myself that I could stay committed, focused, and strong no matter what. Life is full of setbacks that are meant to teach us, not break us. It’s in these tough times that we truly grow. I earned this moment and I’ll never stop being proud of it.

I didn’t just finish a marathon. I proved to myself what’s possible when you don’t give up. 💪🏻💯

Huge thanks to @mercyhomeheroes for the chance to run for an amazing cause and to everyone who supported! Big Shout out to every one at @wrucrew and @inwoodrunclub! Couldn’t complete this race without ya! 💪🏻🙏🏻 taken in Chicago, Illinois by @buriedinfame

Still Thinking About Last Week’s Race 🏃‍♂️🔥

It’s been a week since the race, and I’m still riding the high. The energy, the crowd support, everything came together in the best way. Whether you ran it, cheered, or followed along online, thank you for being part of the experience!

Sidenote: (Might be the last time I do this half 🤣) 🫱🏼‍🫲🏻🤟🏻💪🏻🤙🏻 taken in Brooklyn, New York by @buriedinfame

Had the opportunity of running the NYC marathon! One of the toughest races I’ve ever experienced. Straight heat, humidity and crazy incline! Despite the pain and tiredness, the energy from the crowd enabled me to keep pushing to the finish line. Mile 22 was an emotional moment for me. I saw my mom from a distance as she cheered on. I could see the excitement and the tears coming down! That moment gave me all the motivation I needed to finish strong. There is no greater feeling in the world. ❤️❤️ Huge THANK YOU to everyone for all the support! Shout out to the gang! @dyckmanrunclub Couldn’t do this without ya!! The city was LIT!!! 🔥🔥 Can’t wait to run it back! #tcsnycmarathon taken in NYC by @buriedinfame

2 years ago, picked up running to stay active during the pandemic. It was tough journey, but fortunately I lost 30 pounds in the process, got to meet one of best supporting running groups in NYC (@dyckmanrunclub) and found a new passion for running! Add another medal to the list ✨🔥🥇
