I hope everyone is well! I recently discovered that my niece wants to learn charcoal. So I felt like it was my duty to send over some supplies and film a demo. It's been a while since I posted some drawings. I forgot how therapeutic and relaxing it is.

Charcoal portrait drawing by artist @burntwood__ — a beautifully expressive study with soft shadows, delicate facial structure, and an atmospheric unfinished edge. The artist captures depth and emotion through subtle tonal transitions, refined mark-making, and a striking balance between realism and looseness.
