MEGACON MANCHESTER 2023

Had a fantastic time at Megacon! As per convention, I bought wayy too much stuff and am pretty exhausted.

Now off to bed for 1000 years until the next convention. 😴

SCARLET & VIOLET BASE SET!

I absolutely love this set so much! There is so much that Pokemon have done right. From silver borders, outstanding card art and the way cards are seeded in packs. Everything is perfect!

Here are some of the coolest cards I've pulled from the set so far 😍😍

❓️Questions❓️
-What are some of your favourite cards from this set?
(And for the older fans)
-When did you buy your first TCG booster pack? 😊

Sonic Mania OST LP from @datadiscs

◇The theme of today is my favourite album and I wanted to fit this week with something game related. Sonic Mania has a fantastic OST.

◇Favourite songs from the album is both acts of Studiopolis Zone. Act 1 fueling excitement whilst Act 2 is more energetic and lively.

◇What is your favourite Sonic OST? I love the music this series offers and it's always fantastic!

❗️❗️ This week is part @nintendogamer92 hashtag #geekpicswithfriends . If you want to take part, check Alex's page for details 😊 ❗️❗️

Nothing beats a solo cinema date.
This year i've seen more films than ever before. From re-releases, newest releases and just films that are out of my comfort zone. I've enjoyed every last one of them.

Do you go solo to the cinema or do you prefer to watch with others?

By the way. The M&Ms are cannibals 👀

Formatgg with friends 🎮💚

Thank you @mobius.rose and @renegadeprof for the invite. This was a fun gaming event. Nightlife and video games is right up my alley.
It was lovely to catch up with the Twitch gang, meet some new friends and drink 😆

Looking forward to next year! More events like this would be amazing!

POKEMON DRAGON DISCOVERY - UK McDonalds-
@pokemon @mcdonaldsuk

- A little late to the party, but let's talk about it anyway! I do love me some dragon type Pokemon. So this mini set is a must!

- Each year, Pokemon releases a new mini set for McDonalds. Cards that are reprinted as regular cards and some with that fancy holographic that is dazzling ✨️

(Yes there's a holographic Pikachu in this set...And yes. I pulled him. He's never not in these sets 😂) by @burritodevegito

NINTENDO SWITCH 2 - First Impressions -

- It's finally here, I hope I'm not too late to give my first impressions of Nintendo's newest console. Ah! So, the Nintendo Switch 2 does what the predecessor did, but now we have sharper visuals. Magnetic joy cons, backwards compatibility to original switch games. The whole package.

- I've yet to get myself a physical Switch 2 game. But those red cartridges look tasty. (Don't taste the cartridge...) Mario Kart World is wonderfully charming. The player roster is insane! Driving to the next course after the previous race is fun. Costumes are a great addition. I can only imagine how chaotic the online races are.

- Free updates on past games. Mario Odyssey looks just as amazing as ever! I can't wait to play through it again. I will be checking out the other games that got a graphical upgrade.

I can't wait to see what comes out for the Switch 2. This is only the beginning folks 😁 by @burritodevegito

The only tape you'd ever want for VHS

Wallace and Gromit the Wrong Trousers is a fan favourite. The film that spawned the penguin! Feathers McGraw. Scheming...the most devious bas***d in West Wallaby Street.

Xbox 360 Kinect games

Who remembers the Xbox 360 Kinect? I'm doing an experiment this Christmas to play and see if Kinect was truly as bad as people remember it. Also, it'll be the first time playing Fable the Journey.
