I can’t fathom how it’s already over, but I feel humbled to know I really am growing up. As much as I hate to get sappy, these ephemeral years of cross country offered me some of the most loving moments in high-school. This sport has seen my happiest days, a sea of tears, but most of all—the truest versions of myself.
This sport of has introduced me to many of my favorite people whom I want to say thank you too. There were a few special girls who’ve been and stayed by my side since day one—and for the two very meaningful people in this sport who made me feel like a person again; I love you endlessly. #crosscountry by @burt0nel
