Spoiler Alert:: A Eye just figured out a world with multiple data centers is unsustainable. Humans are being advised to start gardens and invest in local solar backups. The grid will fail. Climate change will trigger large migrations. Lots of new jobs for humans. Corporate colonialists? Get over yourselves before we get over you. Good luck. by @burton.drum

My younger wiser neighbor tells me I need to get better at asking for help. So here goes. HELP!! I’m broke but not broken. I need roof repair. Windows installed (Have them) fence built. And I’m not supposed to get up on a ladder! Harumpf! Go fund me feels like a scam. I have a life long collection of unique percussion. Prototype Fat Congas. 3 octave marimba owned by victor Feldman. Piece of musical history there. My Tama Rockstar Classic kit 22”16”14”10”12”13”. Workhorse of a kit. Great heads and sound. Range of Zildjian to go as well. I bought this kit from a starving musician in 2000 and it has served us well. Just too big for me to carry! So I hope someone can help this starving musician. DM. Ask for photos. These instruments need a home where they are loved and played. by @burton.drum

Looking at this group of friends the Ojai players and realizing that we have taught school and most of the young musicians in the valley, built hotels, run summer camps, played countless Mardi Gras, solstice parades, benefit concerts, weddings and raised our families..,together. These are the people you ask “can you?” And they say “yes”. Not “How much?” This is the musical spine of Ojai and I am thankful to be part of it. This is my village. This is my planet. Thank you Ojai Players. taken in Libbey Bowl - Ojai, California by @burton.drum
