A visual tribute for the 4-year anniversary of Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever 💔⚡

This piece captures one of music’s most powerful transitions — from quiet pain to explosive rage.

This album isn’t just music. It’s a whole emotional rollercoaster 🎢 — heartbreak, anger, growth, healing.
It’s honestly one of my favorite albums ever, and I’ll forever hold it close 💿💙

When I started planning this collab, I knew I wanted to make it special —
So I reached out to both people I did my first collabs with back in 2022, and some amazing new artists I’ve only just recently met 💫
Old bonds, new energy — it all came together perfectly 🫶

This collab truly means the world to me. The communication, the art, the vibe… it all just clicked.

Hey everyone 🤍

You’ve probably noticed that I haven’t been very active here lately.

The truth is, I’ve been putting most of my time and energy into my music project, JOVE EVES. It’s something I care deeply about, and I’ve been giving it my all. Because of that, drawing has taken a bit of a back seat.

I’m sorry for being so quiet here. 🫶

I have started drawing again, slowly, and I really hope I’ll be able to share some new pieces with you soon. No promises yet, but I genuinely miss creating and sharing my art with you all.

Don’t worry… I haven’t forgotten how to hold a pencil. 😭✏️

🖤 HAPPIER THAN EVER — 5 YEARS

Last week, Happier Than Ever officially turned five years old, and honestly, that’s incredible. Five years already?! It still feels unreal. This album will forever remain my favorite album of all time. 🖤

I’ve been a Billie fan for around 7–8 years now, so this album has been a pretty huge part of my life. There are so many memories attached to it, and Billie Bossa Nova has always been one of those songs that I keep coming back to.

After all the chaos with my own music lately, I’m really happy to be back with a little drawing in between everything. Sometimes I just need to put all the music stuff aside for a moment and draw something I genuinely love. 🎨

And I’m SO incredibly happy that I got to be part of this collaboration!! It genuinely means so much to me, and I had such a good time creating this.

For my piece, I chose Billie Bossa Nova. The drawing is inspired by the night that inspired the song, but I wanted to interpret that idea in my own way rather than literally recreate what happened. I wanted it to feel intimate, secretive and a little sensual, almost like catching a glimpse of a moment that was never really meant to be seen.

I hope you like it as much as I loved making it. 🖤

My name is Joey. Some of you know me as JOVE EVES.

Today, I can finally say it…

I graduated from @roncallimavoinsta 🎓

If you had asked me a while ago whether I’d be writing these words, I honestly wouldn’t have known. There were days I had no motivation left. Days I felt completely drained. Days I didn’t even want to go to school anymore. It was never just about whether I was capable. Sometimes, it was simply about finding the strength to keep going.

But somehow… I did.

Standing here today, diploma in hand, I’m proud of myself. Not because it was easy, but because I kept going even when I wanted to give up.

If you’re reading this and you’re struggling with school, work, or life in general, I want you to remember this: where you are right now is not where you’re meant to stay. Keep going. Keep believing in yourself, even on the hard days. Progress isn’t always loud or visible, but every step forward counts. One day, you’ll look back and realize those difficult moments were shaping you all along.

This diploma is more than just a piece of paper. It’s proof that perseverance pays off.

To my parents, my family, my friends, and everyone who supported me, believed in me, motivated me, or simply checked in on me… thank you. I couldn’t have done this without you.

And to my grandpa… even though you’re no longer here, I hope you’d be proud of me today. 🤍

This chapter may be closing, but the story is far from over. As Joey, and as JOVE EVES, I’m ready to keep chasing my dreams in music, media, and everything I’ve been working toward. The next chapter starts now.

Dream big. Work hard. Never stop believing.

7 years later and I’m still not okay 🖤✨

Today marks 7 years since When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? by Billie Eilish dropped… and honestly? I’ve never been the same 😭 This album pulled billions of streams, hit #1 basically everywhere, and casually swept the Grammy Awards like it was nothing 🏆 Meanwhile we thought we were just “listening to music”… no, this was a whole personality shift.

This drawing captures that exact energy. The toxic green glow in the hair? 💚 Feels hypnotic, like you’re getting pulled into something you can’t escape. The blank eyes… no thoughts, just eerie vibes 🫠 And that spiked choker? It’s giving “don’t touch me but don’t look away either” 🖤 It’s creepy, soft, and powerful all at once—just like the album.

And honestly, I’m just proud. So proud of Billie. From bedroom recordings to world domination 🌍 The way she stayed unapologetically herself and still changed the entire sound of pop? That’s insane. 7 years later and we’re STILL stuck in this era 😂

“Welcome to Hades” 🖤🌸

The moment Melanie Martinez dropped Hades today, I already knew this wasn’t going to be a normal listen. There’s something about this album that feels unreal… like stepping into a soft, pink dream that slowly turns darker the longer you stay. Every track pulls you deeper, like it’s quietly rewriting your thoughts without you noticing.
