📍 Carnarvon Gorge - Old old country with a story to tell.

Got to watch Tommy tumble down a rock face for a few metres and thankfully missed out on a Helicopter evac ride.

You get to dive into some deep profound conversations with the young studs when you explore so many k's over so many days.
You could assume some of these topics would be significant - philosophy, history, health, perspectives, happiness.
Sometimes.
But in reality the majority of the conversation is dominated by accusations of who is the gayest and supporting arguments for why. by @bushyyyyyyyyyy

A 5 year hiatus from the drilling game comes to an end as I accept that the normalities of the regular person's town job and routines simply ain't me.
The itch had returned, and after some phone calls with old mates on 968, I soon found myself on a plane bound for the gasfields of regional QLD once again.
One step back onto the rig, with the hum of the hydraulics in my ears, the feeling of being home settled in.
Soaking up the country sunsets.
Throwin heavy shit around with the boys.
And swearing at broken pumps while SWEATING BULLETS in the pump houses.
