August 26, 1950. Luz Melania Montero, my mom, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. June 25, 1986 I was born in the middle of Maradona’s run to the 1986 World Cup. I could have never known what it meant at that time even if my father nearly named me Diego when I was born the same day Maradona scored a brace against Belgium. 36 years later I know what this means now. Grateful for my mother and my father and my love for soccer/football. Messi is the best athlete I’ve ever seen since Michael Jordan and he is without a doubt in the same class as his airness. Posting while everyone is in the giving spirit. @college_mentors is a non-profit organization that pairs 1st-6th graders one-on-one with college student volunteers to meet weekly on university campuses to participate in hands-on activities together. This my fourth year serving on the board and have set up a link where donations can be made. Any amount, big or small, is always welcome. Thank you for reading this and happy holidays! Link below and in bio.

And just like that her majesty is 5! To many more years of balcony moments of zen, pup cups, bacon at brunch, belly rubs and endless games of fetch with the fastest zoomies ever to hail from Puerto Rico. Happy birthday Reina! by @bustajorge

Work. Home. Family. Friends. Soccer/Football. Hard to beat that combo. Playing soccer in Chicagoland since I was 5, it would be hard to believe a crowd like this would be possible. Amazing to see how much the Premier League and this sport have grown over the past 10+ years and so proud of how Chicago showed up all weekend rain or shine! Even more special to celebrate it all with loved ones. Will be tough for the next Fan Fest to top. Looking forward to it! taken in Lincoln Park, Chicago by @bustajorge
