It gives me a great privilege to have been contacted by head costume designer @verachowdesigns for @amcthewalkingdead @thewalkingdead Series Finale. Thank you for this small reinstitution in my efforts of the last 8 years.

Some of @butcherapparel designs have been used alongside other designers in Season 11, so if you follow the series, keep your eyes peeled for the costumes used.

This surely would only be the beginning of costume design and production as there's a whole lot of new designs and collection that's going to be out by end of November.
And with a few other costume design and production used for Documentaries and Movies, it's certainly making a concrete pathway for other things.

Butcher Apparel has been doing commissions since 2016.
Not only do I do custom sizes.of.my designs, I also work on commissions in leather, cotton, and fabric.
Growing up, I've watched my mum design, pattern, and cut out clothing. Her techniques, ideas, and methods were unconventional and went beyond what most people who studied fashion. It was her passion, and she did that during the summer holidays as she worked in a school. I picked up a lot growing up.
So, that's led me into being able to create as second nature and work on ideas or even thematic words just thrown my direction. While working on commissions, I don't use a story board (Pinterest or anything) I love the challenge to keep it original and working from my mind's screen, it's usually where I develop anything I create or make before putting it on paper before it transitions to fabric.

On commissions, I either work with an idea of yours or with the artistic liberty given to me, I do what comes with the person in mind.

Over the years, I've created costumes for movies, tv services, short films, bands outfits, musicals , and performers of all mediums.

Lisa wanted a warrior woman costume for her fire performances. That was all she said. @lisaonfire.official

In this, I used 3 types of leather- engraved, textured, and plain leather.

A little late on this one but... Just LOOK at all the wonderful people we got to dress at @renaissance_faire_uk a few weeks ago! ⚔️

We had such a fun time meeting you all and seeing so many amazing outfits and styles, it gave us some fresh inspiration too!

A huge thank you to all of you who came by to hang out, try stuff on and support our creations, we are so grateful by how much you guys love our designs, our fabrics and quality ❤️

And of course a huge thank you to the team at @renaissance_faire_uk for taking care of us and being so lovely too!

How much fun we had bringing some @catanaclothing & @butcherapparel attitude to @medicinefestival this year ⚔️

A whole new community, bringing with it a whole new world of incredible people, connections and very importantly, sober fun ❤️

Medicine truly is a whole festival of its own, creating a community of open hearted, creative individuals that come together to create a space that feels like home, having the chance to reconnect with friends I've not seen in a long time ❤️

We had some of the most open, honest and deep conversations with our customers in our shop, which affirmed for us that our purpose for being there was not only to sell clothes 🙏

We loved that there was a real hunger for more unique & edgy ethically made clothing at a festival that you would assume only wears white - but I know so many of you wanted more and we were so glad we could offer it ❤️

We also had the honour of being next to our amazing neighbours @kuatiae & @patuah.art who brought their own unique edge too ❤️ It was so lovely to reconnect, share our time with other creatives who put as much time and effort into creating ethically made clothing and jewellry as we do & most notably dance the macarena 😜💃🏻

A huge thank you to everyone that came into the shop and supported our creations and to @medicinefestival
for creating such a wonderful space for genuine connection ❤️

Community is what it is all about when we have a shop at festivals ❤️

A little sneak peak behind what it's really like in the shop in between dressing you all up in our wears @bloodstockopenair edition ❤️

We had SOOO much fun alongside @ulfstagleather & @butcherapparel at this years @bloodstockopenair , endless laughs and getting to know some wonderful people who came to hang out with us.

If you ever find us at at festival, we are always up for long deep chats, support and laughs, so never be afraid to come inside and spend time with us - we are all just a bunch of nerds 😜

Our main goal is to connect with you and create a community that supports each other ❤️
