Edward and James, two British soldiers, find themselves lost in France during the Second World War. Whilst attempting to reach an evacuation point, in order to meet their unit, they realise they aren’t fully alone in this abandoned French village, until they finally encounter a small group of German patrol officers who seem to outnumber them. Not knowing if they will survive, Edward and James’ hopes of returning home and to their families grows smaller by the minute.

‘MUSEUM OF LONDON - ROMAN LIFE’

Decided to go back to the old SketchUp designs I’d done for this fantastic project, and revitalise them - using them as an opportunity to learn and utilise industry standard plan and elevations.

This project really was an incredible experience, as looking back now there’s so many ideas and concepts I’d wished I’d explored in the ideation stage!

Roman Life - April 2025 ⚔️

Working with the fantastic team at @popcornandcovideo, I've designed & built narrative environments for the Museum of London’s upcoming Ancient Londinium exhibit—opening in 2026.

Working as Art Director, I led the design and transformation of key immersive spaces, a roman shop and the exterior of a roman house complete with a garden.

From reimagining modern props as ancient artefacts to fabricating and weathering 6ft-long trestle tables and child-sized Roman Gladius swords, this has been one of the most creatively rewarding projects I have worked on.

One early design puzzle? Creating flooring that mimicked terracotta tiles that was safe enough for actors to fully utilise, and easy to remove on conclusion of filming. A tricky but satisfying challenge!

I'm grateful to have been given the opportunity to bring this ancient history to life!

Earlier this year I travelled down to Wales for a few days and worked as an Art Department Assistant on a stunning short film @whenshesingsfilm ~ Production Design by - Jessica Jones, and an incredible creative team.

I had the chance to develop hands-on skills in both scenic painting, and weathering techniques. Huge thanks to Eva, who led as Head Scenic, for sharing her expertise and guidance throughout. 🎨

We worked to fully reimagined a hotel and chippy into grimy, dilapidated versions on themselves—and seeing those transformations come together was such a rewarding part of the process.

Had an amazing experience over at @bentleyadvanced in Kidderminster for their Basics to Mould Making seminar. Learnt an incredible amount about all kinds of silicones and resins and got to hear some entertaining & Insightful stories from Creature & SFX Artist Peter Tindall. ~ Highly Recommend! 👏 by @butlrs

Worked on ASCEND as costume designer/prop maker a few months ago, making the helmet and astronaut costume - it truly was such an incredible opportunity to work with such talented cast and crew. 🚀
