POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Imagine being selected as a first-round pick, then getting traded by three teams in less than three years. @tay_tram5 is far from your average MLB journeyman. He’s a serious left-handed barrel getter, with a bat and skill set that several teams have coveted over the past few seasons.

I’ve always believed athletes with physical tools like Taylor could be the next Max Muncy if given the right opportunity. He makes his 2026 season debut this weekend against his former team in Seattle — go get ’em!!

Full interview dropping 🔜 on Substack. Make sure to follow the Black Baseball Mixtape Crew all season long!

Happy Opening Day and congratulations to @brice.matthews for making the #astros opening day roster! This spring, we caught up with the Astros second baseman about his journey from first-round pick to a Major League superutility player. Similar to his teammate, Cam Smith, Brice is seizing the opportunity by using his pure athletic ability and strong mental makeup to adapt to multiple positions. Excited to see him mash this season!

Shout out to @tay_tram5 @texasbrigadebaseball @prosportplex and @texasprospects for hosting this awesome camp for local youth! taken in Houston, Texas by @buttamane.baseball

I had the privilege of traveling to Columbus, Ohio with @houstonlegendssoftball to represent Houston in the @ipridesoftball annual Gay Softball World Series. This event welcomed thousands of athletes from all over the USA from all genders, backgrounds, and skill levels. The bonds and memories we shared together were unforgettable. We ended the tourney with a 5-3 record, ranking 15th out of 95 competitive teams while allowing the LEAST amount of runs against us in the entire division - making us one of the most defensively sound teams in the entire tournament. Spending time with my squad in a random American town playing softball every day? The best start to Virgo season I’ve ever experienced. I will run through a wall of aged salt water taffy for this team 🥎🥹😭

Forever a Legend!

I’m really the Robin to his Batman fr @tajh_jamoz

.538 average. I need some work in the power department but my legs never failed me!

Ofcourse we had to make a family dinner for the mob after taking home a few wins during pool play.

Columbus, Ohio had some of the worst meat and poultry prices at the grocery store. We are truly spoiled in Texas

Can you believe it was 95 degrees in Ohio?

@clbclippers game on Pride Night with an incredible midwestern sunset

Since I’m older now, I’ll be taking more unc styled selfies. I refuse to take a photo in the front seat of my vehicle with sunglasses on tho.

Ritualistically watching film after our games.

Another family meal - this time Chef’d by our shortstop Miss Braaaaandiiii

Ironically we crushed these Krabby Patties right before getting eliminated by a SpongeBob themed team named “The Bikini Bottoms.” I’m blaming our loss on the Patrick Star Altar that they pinned to their dugout gate.

Will run through a swarm of hungry locust for my potnas @houstonlegendssoftball

These are definitely my favorite jerseys.

@tajh_jamoz is the best softball player I have ever seen touch the field. Period

I dip low before every plate appearance to make sure my knees still work. They do

We’re going to have to hit better next year if we want to win it all. Our defense was the best in the league, but we’re going to the ba by @buttamane.baseball

Conspiracy Brother Rant | I had to speak on this.
Am I calling the dog racist? No. Am I saying the organization that did this is? No. Is there a lack of awareness when it comes to situations like this? Absolutely.
With the growing conversations around online bullying and player mental health, it’s on the league to take things like this seriously.
This isn’t just about player safety. No team or organization should be adding fuel to the fire. Players today face more scrutiny online than ever before, and stunts like what Visalia did shouldn’t be tolerated. If the game values what Black Americans bring to the field from a performance standpoint, it should value their mental well-being just as much.
