@butter.qream I don’t think I’ve written or said this next statement before in my life: My ice cream man is cooler than yours. Truly. Just look at the guy. He’s built a brand that blends vintage ice cream attributes with unapologetic SoCal flavor. Now, here is where one might make the mistake of thinking the flavor is only aesthetic deep. That would be a heinous misjudgment. Butter Qream uses inspired ingredients churned to a consistency reminiscent of when my cousin would spend hours making ice cream by hand. The human touch is palpable at a time where the industrial food complex has churned the character out of ice cream. If all that wasn’t enough to make you respect the technique, he also is behind SAD Night Market. I know, crazy cool right? Now go get a scoop. You’re welcome. Went to go visit the homies from @calikatsu at the @sadnightmarket. What a cool little venue with so much soul. Every vendor seemed curated and had its own unique style. Hidden in Santa Ana which is in my backyard I was pleasantly surprised. I believe they have this event the last Saturday of every month. Be sure to check them out at the next Sad Night Market.
