Welcoming the coolest @sundaystoneware from Chicago to our space 🤭🌟 by @butterapologist

I’ve been overwhelmed with gratitude while reflecting on our South Korea trip. Colin got to meet my grandfather, who I hadn’t seen in 11 years, my old friends from college, and my cousin and his girlfriend. We got to see Namsam, Buramsan, and Seoraksan all in the span of a week, we got ENGAGED (?!?!?), saw cherry blossoms, got carted around Busan by the friendliest Airbnb host in the world. We got to see my father’s hometown and learn about the history that my parents and grandparents lived through. We are really so lucky 🌸 by @butterapologist

I LOVE YOU, TAIWAN!!! LETS MEET AGAIN!!!!! by @butterapologist

How lucky are we to spend forever with each other? 💖 by @butterapologist

Happy 30th Birthday to my beauty @butterapologist !!

Everyday with you is a dream. You never cease to impress me with the things you bake (@slowersundays), the ceramics you create (@sundaystoneware), or your ability to always be the coolest person in the room. by @butterapologist

It’s been a whole year of cakes!! Here are all twelve of them 🎂 😋 Some ugly, some pretty, but all very delicious and shared with close friends and new friends alike. Here’s to another 12, 24, 48 (or more…)

Thank you to everyone who’s been a willing participant (guinea pig) for joining me this past year to indulge our sweet teeth (tooths?) 🦷

1. Vanilla cake with whipped mascarpone frosting
2. Chocolate raspberry cake with raspberry jam and raspberry white chocolate ganache
3. Orange marmalade and oolong cake + dark chocolate coconut
4. Tiramisu cake
5. Gulab jamun cake. Eggless.
6. Banana bread cake with brown butter ermine + earl gray cake with lemon curd
7. Jaffas candy cake!! Orange cake layers with chocolate American buttercream.
8. Matcha cake with matcha SMBC and strawberry jam
9. Mango cake with mango curd and mango vanilla SMBC
10. Apple cider cake with caramel buttercream (sort of in the style of Russian buttercream)

12. Ras malai cake with saffron cardamom SMBC

Thank you in particular to @suntewari @masoodjuveria and @esedlac4 for special ingredients, inspiration, and hosting!! 🫶 🫶 🫶

💕 💕 Edit: and of course, deepest and most special thanks to the love of my life @hendrickson.colin for always supporting me and helping me clean last minute and allowing me to turn our small apartment into a pastry venue once a month 🤪 by @butterapologist

My dearest friend in every universe and timeline!! Grace doesn’t have instagram so I’m really just bragging to you all that I got to be her maid of honor this past weekend. It’s been a privilege to grow into real adulthood alongside the coolest person in the world and be part of such a beautiful, momentous day 😎 everybody say CONGRATS GRACE AND ARNULF 🗣️ by @butterapologist

Spent a weekend in Newport and a few hours in Boston last month with a wonderful group of women for Grace’s bachelorette party. We had so much fun spending the days celebrating Grace with lots of seafood, good wine, and beautiful views 🤭

Grateful always to have a best friend as intelligent, determined, compassionate, funny, and honest as Grace. Blessed that no matter where life took us after college, we always found each other!! 💖 💖 💖

Congratulations to GRACIE!!!!! by @butterapologist

I ❤️ NY!!! You can quote me on this btw maybe put it on a shirt or a mug or something 🤔

We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Easton and Kai tying the knot, eating a lot of really good food (some pictured) with some really good friends (some pictured 💖), seeing some really good art (Turrell spotted 👁️), and gallivanting through Central and Prospect Park. by @butterapologist

In no particular order: our time in Ohio. It was a weekend of celebrations and love and also Colin’s bday 🎉

skyline chili is disgusting btw I’m shocked that no one ever told me that it’s actually gross. Like no one ever tells you that it’s chili flavored water that they throw onto spaghetti noodles and call a regional delicacy; they just act like cinnamon is what makes it different. Hell is real, indeed. by @butterapologist

In no particular order: the most beautiful start to the summer. @hendrickson.colin took me on a birthday trip to Maine and we made and ate our way through Portland and Acadia over the course of five days. (Yes, my birthday is in the winter but that’s toooo cold for Maine) by @butterapologist

I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to go to CES 2025 this past week and see Las Vegas and connect, or reconnect, with so many amazing people from all over the world!! by @butterapologist
