You guys!!! I did an interview with St. George News and it’s live on their website now. My sweet dad passed last week. We will be closed again this week Thursday, & Friday so I can be with my family — but we will open again on Saturday. (3/21 from 11am-5pm). If you’ve been in the store odds are you’ve heard me talk about my dad before (it’s really hard not to brag about him). He was such a good person, and he’s the only reason this space exists. I’m so grateful he gave me the resources and power to create. It’s a luxury many never get to experience, and I promise I don’t take it lightly. This building used to house my grandpas barber shop and my dad spent many hours here all throughout his life. I feel so close to him when I’m here. His hands touched every project and renovation I worked on since 2022 until he physically couldn’t any longer. I painted the mural outside when I first found out he was sick. I spent almost every morning and evening for months painting and crying because I knew this day would eventually come and I’d never be ready for it. Everything here is so special to me because of him and I’m so grateful for those of you who support my dream. It was the greatest feeling coming home from a successful day and getting to tell him all about it. Mainly getting to tell him about YOU! Thank you for the best past few years a girl whose watching her sick dad slowly disappear could ask for. It’s been so hard yet so beautiful. The Sunset Moth! These guys truly contain the rainbow and never stop wowing me. The way their colors fade into each other reminds me of a lava lamp or thermochromic toys from the 90’s. “The emoji one!” These three butterflies are all a part of the morpho family. Can you see the slight differences in them? In order they are 1. Morpho Godarti 2. Morpho Didius and 3. Morpho Peleides. So obsessed with how this custom order came out!!! The colors of these two butterflies are so beautiful together. It’s giving punk/chic/emo/glam and possibly also Halloween, but that’s my favorite holiday so can you blame me for loving it???
