So, I hear 2026 is the new 2016?! Story time! That year would mark some incredible change in my life. At the time I was in my 3rd year doing the afternoon show on i1067 – still playing What’s Down Butter’s Britches by the way – my only claim to any fame in this town haha. What I didn’t know at the start of that year was I’d be working for a whole new company by that Summer. It was around February 2016 that I found out i1067 was being sold and I along with another co-worker Cori would be moving with it from downtown Nashville to work for its soon to be new owner Midwest Communications in Berry Hill. I1067 would gain 2 new sister stations that year - Mix 929 & 963 Jack FM and I would gain a bunch of awesome new co-workers including one of my best friends for life @joebreezyradio My hours & role would change from Afternoons to Middays on i1067 before I got the opportunity of a lifetime to move across the hall and work for the incomparable Barbara Bridges on @mix929official in 2018 - which is where I’ve happily been ever since! And my bff Joe would eventually make that same short journey to join me again in 2023! taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @butteriam
