Happy Anniversary Sylus. Happy Anniversary to the you who had to face the hardships and the exclusions of the people of Tartarus when you were a dragon and yet love conquered your cold heart. Happy Anniversary to the you who as a fiend still believed in true kindred spirits. Happy Anniversary to the you who despite being turned into a cat and had to follow through the ridiculous plan, did not turn away from it and was willing to compromise. “A lover’s grief”My art contribution for the LADS Myth Collab by @myearts_uwu Thank you for having me for the collab, I didn’t think that I’d end up enjoying the journey as much as I did. Thank you also for the lengthy deadline since my brain really only works in the spur of the moment 🫠 This idea came just before I slept and then spiralled even more and more as I worked on it. For the design element, I wanted to bring tribute to my silhouette style and add the coffin shaped frames with MC and Sylus’s bust at the bottom left alongside chains to show that they are always together. Next I went with the Silverwing Fiend coffin scene as my centrepiece with roses around them. I did search up how to draw roses because idk how 😭 As for the background, I wanted it to match the Organ scene that is constantly featured in Sylus’s memories hence the purple reddish background colour. For the windows, I tried to match the stain glass window look from the Crimson Departure card. Lastly, I had Tarus City in the background behind the window.That’s all!
