Special afternoon at @agencyprojects launching Lisa Waup's first Out of Hand collection of garments today. These works have seen her journey to India to work with the last remaining keepers of traditional block printing and off grid to Rajasthan to work with a 'seed to sew' social enterprise as well. Her collection includes a series of curated, preloved men's business shirts screenprinted with her iconographical storytelling including celebrating the original repairers, Spiders and way leaders, Stars. Personally I feel honoured to have walked out of the gallery wearing her original art. Talk about lucky! https://www.lisa-waup.com/ #lisawaup #firstnationsexcellence #freewestpapua by @buttonfreak_curates

I am a Maximalist. There. I said it. I love busy florals and Op Art prints and embroidery and patchworks and details and bold patterns. And florals. Did I mention florals? But make it vintage. Save your minimalist greige for another day, 'cause I have no time for that. If you feel like picking up a new frock or blouse for Spring-Summer, come on down to @brunswickcommunityfleamarket. I have found some beauties over Winter and I need to re-unite these preloved stunners with their people. Help a friend out! @brunswickcommunityfleamarket Saturday 24 October 10am to 3pm 11 Dawson St Brunswick / Bulleke-bek. 🇵🇸10% profits from my sales to Mutual Aid in Gaza. #florals #vintageclothes #market by @buttonfreak_curates

On my way to @westgarthpsevents fete on a perfect Melbourne day. Thinking of my dear old mate, Bobbie and her magical touch when hunting for treasure at school fetes. I shall pick well and thriftily with you in mind my darling. Thanks to champion mum @anna_pocket for reminding me. See you on the stage! #fetes #goodtimes #absentfriends. by @buttonfreak_curates
Adelaide printmakers, fashionistas and makers of the 1980's. Do you recognise this fab duster jacket? The screenprinted fabric is spot on for the era - pseudo heiroglyphics with the 'woman power' mixed in for good measure. It's black and neon green on hot hot pink cotton. The label is Vonnie. Halp! #adelaidefashion #80s #vonnie by @buttonfreak_curates
The prepping I am doing for the next @brunswickcommunityfleamarket involves a cauldron, hair of newt and a hat of epic proportions. Where my witches at?
