Nobody owes you anything nobody’s entitled to make you money in this business. The only way you get ahead in this line of work or any line of work is making yourself irreplaceable to the people above you.

One of the bad things about social media is once a couple of people find common ground they assume that it must be the overall state of everything.

You are unique and your situation in this business is unique quit blanking the industry with statements about the economy being to blame.

Getting a lot of love on here lately. I’ve been busier than I’ve ever been my whole life at the shop. Slammed open to close every day.

I’m super lucky because I’m an average street shop tattooer. I shouldn’t be as busy as I am. A lot of you were here at 300 followers when I quit music and decided to open up my own shop. You’ve seen it grow. It all started with nothing.

It’s true there are tattoo gods. And you best pray to them and you best be thankful and give praise every day because there are people out there that have to grind and have to suffer and struggle and sacrifice and if you’re lucky like me and you just get to sit on your ass and talk shit and make money all day you are one of the lucky few.

My life has changed dramatically. I’m at a place that I never even dreamed I could get to.

I had 1 million excuses to fail 1 million reasons to not even try. If you’re anything like me, then you don’t have a leg to stand on and that’s not a good enough reason to give up on yourself or give up on your goals.

If you’re here to cash in on this business and make money because you think it’s cool and you think you’re gonna make a lot of money you will not survive. You will not make it very long and you will be one of these people making a speech about how you’re getting out.

I will fucking light myself on fire in the street before I get out of this business. Street shop tattooer until the day I die. by @buzz_ironside

Somehow, it makes your tattoos better. I’m not a scientist, but it’s true.
