POSTS STORIES REELS

Spent several days in the water with these incredible creatures and you really start to see their individual traits and personalities. From the dominant ladies to the sneaky little juvenile males that follow you up into the blue while you do your safety stop.

There's no feeling quite like looking into their eyes and sharing a moment.

Thank you @pelagicdiversfuvamulah for making my second visit just as epic as the first. And to those that shared the moments with me after the dive. The feeling on the boat was euphoric. #whenyouknowyouknow

Chichen Itza, Mexico

One of the New Seven Wonders of the World, founded around 750 AD and home to an estimated 35,000 to 50,000 people at its peak.

At the centre of the city stands El Castillo, the legendary temple built to honour the feathered serpent god, Kukulkan.

The Maya engineered it as a giant, physical stone calendar with 365 Steps. Each of the 4 stairways has 91 steps. Combined with the top platform, they equal the exact number of days in a year.

Plus twice a year in the equinox, the setting sun casts a shadow that looks like a massive snake slithering down the pyramid steps to meet the carved stone serpent heads at the base.

Ek Balam, Mexico. Just 30 minutes from Valladolid. 🦎🏺

Known as the "Black Jaguar," Ek Balam was the beating heart of the Talol kingdom over 1,200 years ago.

The best part?

No huge crowds and you can still climb to the top of the massive Acropolis. The view from the top looks out over endless Yucatán jungle

Collectivo from Valladolid £6 each return.

Entry £29 each
